A cable tray system has two or more cable tray segments, the cable tray segments each having a cable tray underside and two cable tray side cheeks which laterally delimit the cable tray underside and form a substantially U-shaped cross section. A connecting section is provided at one end of one cable tray segment and one end of another cable tray segment can be connected in or on this connecting section with complementary mechanical connecting elements by means of a clamping or latching connection. When two corresponding ends of the cable tray segments are plugged together in the longitudinal direction of the cable tray segments and also in the vertical direction of the cable tray segments, the ends are resiliently bent towards each other until a desired connection position is reached and form a snap-in connection that locks in the longitudinal and vertical directions.

A wire harness is provided with a cable including wires coated with a sheath, a rubber stopper that covers an end of the sheath together with a portion in a longitudinal direction of the wires, and a cover made of a harder material than the rubber stopper and accommodating the rubber stopper. The rubber stopper integrally has a sheath sealing portion having an inner peripheral surface that comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the sheath, and a wire sealing portion including plural insertion holes to which the wires are inserted. The cover integrally has a sheath holding portion that crimps and holds an uncovered portion of the sheath that is not covered by the rubber stopper, and a rubber stopper holding portion that crimps and holds the rubber stopper.

Device for the sealed passing-through of an elongate part

A device for the sealed closing of an opening for one or more elongate parts to pass through includes a sealing and/or clamping element with at least two interacting first and second parts that are axially displaceable relative to one another, and a pressure contour acting axially onto the sealing and/or clamping element. A first axial displacement of the pressure contour and an axial displacement of the at least one second part relative to the at least one first part causes a first change in geometry of the at least one first part transversely to the displacement direction. Also, a further axial displacement of the pressure contour causes a further change in geometry of the at least one first part transversely to the displacement direction such that the opening is sealed around the one or more elongate parts passing therethrough.

System and method for connecting a compression-type coupling to a coated conduit

A tool for removing a coating from an end of a coated conduit comprising a metallic conduit having an outer diameter and a polymeric material applied over the outer diameter thereof is provided. The tool comprises: a guide member having an outer diameter sized to fit within an internal diameter of the metallic conduit; and a cylindrical cutting member having a substantially closed first end rotatably connected to an arbor, a substantially open second end, and a plurality of teeth elements. The cylindrical cutting member has an inner diameter that is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the metallic conduit such that when the cylindrical cutting member is rotated, the teeth elements remove the polymeric material from the outer diameter of the metallic conduit.
