The junction box may also include a housing. The housing may include a bottom portion. The bottom portion may define a second groove. The second groove may be disposed relative to a second center axis. The second center axis may be coincident with the first center axis in a direction that is substantially parallel to the first plane of the first groove. In addition, the second groove may be located on a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane of the first groove. Further, the second groove may be configured to indicate a suitable hole position in the bottom portion.

The inner box includes a number of inner box fastener holes arranged in a horizontal row. The height of the in-ground box assembly is vertically adjusted by aligning the inner box fastener holes with horizontally-situated outer box fastener holes at a selected height on the vertical fastener panel. The tilt of the in-ground box assembly is adjusted by aligning the inner box fastener holes with selected diagonally-situated outer box fastener holes.

The cover plate and the radially extending flange somewhat sandwich a surface, such as drywall or wallboard, and the flange is configured to permit covering with spackling paste or joint compound to conceal the flange.

A sealing member is disposed at a joint between the cable body and the network interface plug. A threading hole through which the cable is threaded is disposed in the cover, and the sealing member is attached to the threading hole through interference fit. Effective waterproof for the cable can be implemented through interference fit between the sealing member and the threading hole of the cover.
