IN-WALL EXTENSION APPARATUS
Various embodiments of the apparatus and/or methods are described for routing power to a wall-mounted appliance, particularly for routing electrical wiring and audio/video cabling up through a wall to power and communicate with a wall-mounted presentation device. The apparatus and systems include input and output enclosures with wiring therebetween and mechanisms for mounting the input and output enclosures adjacent to pre-cut wall openings. There exists at least one electrical input connector, disposed within the input enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a power source, and at least one electrical output connector, disposed within the output enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a wall-mounted appliance.
Support Assembly for Power Conductors
A support assembly, for supporting one or more conductors of a low voltage power distribution system, can include an adjustable clip subassembly. The adjustable clip subassembly can include a housing, a clip, and a biasing element. The housing can define a receiving space, and the clip can define a receiving region. The clip can be positioned within the receiving space so that the receiving region receives the housing. The biasing element can be disposed between the clip and the housing and configured to bias the clip away from the housing. The subassembly can be configured to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the clip can compress the biasing element against the housing, allowing for insertion of a conductor into the receiving space. In the closed configuration, clip can be laterally translated, relative to the open configuration, to engage the conductor.
Adapter for mounting cables and cable hangers and clamp members for mounting same
An adapter for mounting a cable hanger on a mounting structure includes a body having a base and a neck, the base having a hollow cavity and including a mounting hole with an overhanging rim, the neck including a threaded bore, the adapter being formed of a polymeric material.
Support device for use with electrical box
A support device can have an opening to receive electrical cable or conduit and a gate that is configured to bend between an open configuration and a closed configuration relative to the opening. A locking tab can be provided configured to be selectively engaged with the gate to secure the gate in the closed configuration.
Strut hanger
Technology is provided for a strut hanger for connecting a strut to a hanger rod includes a hook portion configured to engage the exterior surface of the hanger rod, a lever portion, a fulcrum disposed between the hook portion and lever portion, and a strut tab extending from the lever portion and configured to engage a strut. Load placed on the strut tab causes the lever portion to act against the fulcrum to force the hook portion against the hanger rod, thereby supporting the strut from the hanger rods without fasteners attached to the hanging rods. The strut hanger can include a clip extending from the lever portion to engage the hanger rod and maintain a minimum load on the lever.
Suspension assembly
A suspension assembly (10) comprises a support member (12), an elongate suspension member (14), and a securing arrangement. The support member (12) defines a central aperture (20) for receiving the suspension member (14) therethrough. The suspension member (14) defines a latching opening. The securing arrangement includes a latch member receivable through the latching opening in the suspension member (14) to secure the support member (12) to the suspension member (14).
Cable management system
A cable support apparatus includes first and second horizontal supports spaced-apart and substantially parallel to one another, a plurality of vertical supports spaced-apart horizontally along the first and second horizontal supports, and at least one junction box assembly configured to hang from the first horizontal support. Each horizontal support is formed from wire stock. Each vertical support is formed from wire stock and secured to each of the first and second horizontal supports. At least two of the vertical supports include cable-receiving segments that cooperate to define at least one cable-receiving channel extending horizontally. The at least one junction box assembly includes an input and an output for receiving cable ends of cables disposed within one of the at least one cable-receiving channels to enable joining of the cable ends within the junction box assembly.
UNDERFLOOR WIRE ROUTING SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER CABIN
An apparatus for securing a raceway assembly within an aircraft, which includes a clip assembly associated with the raceway assembly, which secures the raceway assembly to a seat rail. The apparatus further includes a floor panel positioned in overlying relationship to the raceway assembly and the clip assembly.
Inside corner trim product
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.
Wire Tray and Mounting Insert Assemblies
This publication describes techniques and apparatuses for releasably attaching an object (e.g., a wire tray) to a substrate. Current apparatuses generally do not enable the removal of an attached wire tray from a substrate without first removing an insert from a mounting stud extending from the substrate. The disclosed techniques and apparatuses are configured to permit the removal of an attached wire tray from a substrate without first removing an insert from a mounting stud extending from the substrate.
