A device, that can attach near a distal end of a cord, has a receptacle therein for removably further attaching the device to the cord itself. Thus, a cord on a tool, for example, can be wrapped around the tool or a cord storage area of the tool and the end of the cord can be removably clipped onto the cord itself, thus removing the need to wrap or tie the end of the cord while keeping the cord from tangling or unwrapping. Typically, the device is permanently affixed to the cord, near its distal end. Various means can be used to secure the device to the cord, including adhesive, a locking mechanism, friction, or combinations thereof.

The invention relates to a covering for encasing an elongated object (1), in particular for making an elongated sheath (2) for cables in automobiles. The covering is provided with a support tape (3) and at least two closure strips (4) of an adhesive compound on an upper face and/or lower face of the support tape (3). The closure strips (4) extend along respective longitudinal edges of the support tape (3) and define a free area (3) between and/or next to one another. According to the invention, the support tape (3) has a single-layer design and has a class D abrasion resistance according to LV312-1 (2009).

WIRING MEMBER

A wiring member includes: at least one wire-like transmission member; and a base member keeping the wire-like transmission member in a flat form, wherein the base member includes a connection end portion, the wire-like transmission member is held by the connection end portion to be directed to a tip end portion of the connection end portion along an extension direction of the connection end portion, and the tip end portion of the connection end portion includes a catch suppressing shape portion directed to a base end side of the connection end portion with an increasing distance from the wire-like transmission member.

Wiring structure of wire harness and wire harness

A wiring structure of a wire harness in which the wire harness is wired by being fixed to an adhesive member laid on a surface of a roof lining of an automobile is provided. At least a part of a plurality of electric wires constituting the wire harness in a length direction are sandwiched between two belt-shaped tapes in which both side edges in the width direction are fixed to each other, are arranged side by side in the width direction of the tapes, and are attached to an adhesive surface provided on an inner surface of at least one of the two tapes, thereby holding the bundle of the electric wires in a flat shape, and an outer surface of one of the two tapes is attached to the adhesive member, whereby the wire harness is fixed to the surface of the roof lining.

SUPPORT SLEEVE

A flexible support sleeve includes a knit fabric sheet with loops of fibers on a fastening face, a strip of resin overlaying a portion of the fastening face along one edge, with a strip of adhesive disposed along the same edge on an opposite side. The strip of resin includes male touch fastener elements configured to engage the loops of the knit fabric sheet. The strip of resin has a selvedge coterminous with the edge of the flexible support sleeve and void of male touch fastener elements, such that the selvedge of the base is not engageable with the loops of the knit fabric sheet. The strip of adhesive is wider than the strip of resin, such that the adhesive strip underlays all of the discrete male touch fastener elements of the strip of resin.

Wiring member and arrangement structure of wiring member

A wiring body includes a wire-like transmission member and a base member to which the wire-like transmission member is fixed. A temporary joint part joins portions where a first part and a second part mutually extending in an opposite side from a bending position in the wiring body overlap with each other in a state where the wiring body is bended in an intermediate portion of the wire-like transmission member in an extension direction to maintain a bending state of the wiring body. The temporary joint part is formed to be able to resolve a state of joining the first part and the second part by a relative separation movement of the first part and the second part.
