Device comprising chip and integrated circuit
A device includes a chip and integrated circuit. Devices and integrated circuits are provided where a resistor is coupled to a terminal of a chip or integrated circuit.
VEHICLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A vehicle power supply system includes a power supply path, and an ECU detaching a fault occurrence portion occurring in a part of the power supply path from the power supply path based on a set value lower than a lowest operation voltage of a load and a voltage related to the power supply path. The set value is set within a normal range of the voltage related to the power supply path. The power supply path includes a plurality of electrical connection units connected to the load and a plurality of connection wirings connecting each of the electrical connection units in a loop shape. In a case that a part of voltages related to each of the connection wirings is equal to or less than the set value, the control unit supplies power to the load via another part of the voltages related to each of the connection wirings.
SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRICAL POWER TO START VEHICLE ENGINES
A protection circuit for protecting an energy storage device includes a first circuit region between a first terminal of the energy storage device and a first connector node, a second circuit region between a second terminal of the energy storage device and a second connector node, a latching circuit to electrically couple the first connector node to the first terminal of the energy storage device when the latching circuit is in a closed configuration, and a contactor circuit electrically coupled to an operational switch of the latching circuit, the contactor circuit comprising a capacitor to store charge and a microcontroller to monitor an electrical property of the energy storage device to determine if a short circuit occurs and, if a short circuit does occur, cause the capacitor to discharge to the operational switch of the latching circuit to cause the latching circuit to transition to the open configuration.
Boosting battery voltage with boost converters
Systems and methods for boosting battery voltage with boost converters are provided. Aspects include coupling a discharge path of a battery to an input side of a power converter in a power supply, wherein the power supply comprises a rectifier and the power converter. A charge path of the battery is coupled to an output side of the power converter and a processor monitors an output voltage of the power converter. The processor also monitors an input voltage of the power converter and responsive to the output voltage of the power converter dropping below a threshold voltage, the processor enables the discharge path.
Power distributor, and on-board electrical system having at least one power distributor
A power distributor, in particular for an on-board network of a motor vehicle, has an intermediate tap, two power outputs, and one each switching unit for each power output. A switch is provided for a need-based blocking of the associated power output. Each of the switching units is designed in such a way that a blocking of the associated power output takes place, if, in the event a voltage drop at the associated power output and/or at the intermediate tap below a first setpoint value, an error case is determined. The greater the corresponding voltage drop, the faster the blocking of the associated power output takes place.
Control of an Electric Circuit in a Motor Vehicle
A method (200) for operating an electrical vehicle circuit (115) of a motor vehicle (105) includes determining that a voltage of the vehicle circuit (115) drops below a predetermined threshold value while electric current from the vehicle circuit (115) flows through a consumer (130) on board the motor vehicle (105), lowering a voltage present at the consumer (130) in order to reduce the current flowing through the consumer (130), and successively raising the voltage present at the consumer (130).
