OPEN CIRCUIT DETECTION FOR VEHICLE POWER SYSTEM
20200041558 · 2020-02-06 ·

A vehicle power system includes an inverter, outlets, and circuit breakers. The inverter supplies power to the outlets through the circuit breakers. The inverter, in response to detecting no voltage at designated amount and combination of the outlets, based on the designated amount and combination, generates a signal indicating that one or more of electrical paths to the outlets has failed or one or more of the circuit breakers is open.

Home appliances have operation switches and buttons and also sensors which can be activated by the user. It is possible that the user will cause and an undesired operation to take place by pressing a switch or activating a sensor by a certain action. This can be small children of dementing old people left alone, or any person in the household which can do things by mistake. This invention will describe an apparatus serving as an appliance accessory which can force the voltage value at the appropriate timing and time frame to be put on the appropriate control lines coming in the appliance control board thus maintaining a proper appliance operation.

Systems and methods for diagnostic current shunt and overcurrent protection (OCP) for power supplies

Systems and methods are provided that may be implemented to provide a power supply with automatic overcurrent protection (OCP) point calibration and/or current sense resistor (Rsense) verification. The provided systems and methods may implement auto-calibration techniques on the secondary side of a power supply to achieve a more precise OCP point than is possible with conventional adapter technology, and in one example may implement auto trimming for OCP voltage threshold value.

AUTOMOTIVE-GRADE CHIP, PROTECTION CIRCUIT, AND VEHICLE-MOUNTED CIRCUIT
20250219398 · 2025-07-03 ·

The present disclosure provides an automotive-grade chip, and a vehicle-mounted circuit. The automotive-grade chip includes: a plurality of reverse connection protection circuits, a plurality of ports, and an internal circuit assembly. The reverse connection protection circuit is electrically connected between the port and the internal circuit assembly, and the port is further electrically connected to a controller or electrically connected between the controller and a low dropout linear regulator. The reverse connection protection circuit is configured to, in the case that a voltage at a corresponding port is equal to a reverse connection voltage of the controller, cut off a pathway between the port and the internal circuit assembly and/or control the internal circuit assembly to stop functioning. In this way, the internal circuit assembly of the automotive-grade chip is prevented from damages, and reliability of the automotive-grade chip is improved.
