An aircraft electrical system including: a first DC power bus and a fuel cell assembly including a first fuel cell group, wherein the first fuel cell group is electrically coupled directly to the first DC power bus without a voltage converter to provide a first power output to the first DC power bus.
State of function adaptive power management
A method for controlling a vehicle active chassis power system includes determining, via a processor, a minimum output voltage/current threshold for an aggregated power supply associated with an active chassis operation, and generating an aggregate State of Function (SoF) indicative of a maximum voltage/current budget for an output of the vehicle active chassis power system. The aggregate SoF is based on a primary power source voltage/current output and a power storage voltage/current output. The method further includes causing to control an active chassis power system actuator based on a minimum voltage/current value associated with the aggregate SoF. Causing to control the active chassis power system actuator can include publishing the aggregate SoF to a braking actuator, a steering actuator, or to a domain controller that actively distributes an aggregated power supply capability SoF to a braking actuator and a steering actuator based on one or more present vehicle states.
Electric power supplying device
An electric power supplying device including: a first sensing section that senses a first output current from a first DCDC converter provided between a high-voltage system and an auxiliary device system; a second sensing section that senses a second output current from a second DCDC converter provided between the high-voltage system and the auxiliary device system; a third sensing section that senses a third output current from an auxiliary device battery connected to the auxiliary device system; and a control section that controls output of the second DCDC converter on the basis of results of sensing of output currents by the first sensing section, the second sensing section and the third sensing section.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INITIATING POWER GENERATION
System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to safely activating a fuel cell (FC) within a generator. In one embodiment, a method includes initiating a test for sensitive systems of a generator using backup power including a battery. The method also includes powering an FC and a direct current (DC) converter within the generator to an operational level using the battery, wherein the DC converter stabilizes a circuit fed by the FC. The method also includes, upon successfully completing the test and powering the FC and the DC converter, energizing a load inverter after completing a non-critical sequence that controls support systems of the generator, wherein the DC converter stabilizes energy between the FC, the battery, and the load inverter.
Power supply system for mobile body
A power supply system includes: a voltage converter that converts a voltage between first and second power circuits; a power controller that controls charging and discharging of first and second batteries; a cooling output controller that controls cooling output for the second battery; a temperature remaining-capacity acquirer that acquires a temperature remaining-capacity T2_mar; and a cooling remaining-capacity acquirer that acquires a cooling remaining-capacity PC2_mar depending on a difference between maximum cooling output and the cooling output of the second cooler. The power controller is configured to stop the voltage converter in a case where at least one of the temperature remaining-capacity T2_mar and the cooling remaining-capacity PC2_mar is less than an associated one of a threshold value for the temperature remaining-capacity and a threshold value for the cooling remaining-capacity and a potential difference between the first and second batteries is equal to or more than a potential difference threshold value.
SERVICE MANAGEMENT DEVICE, POWER CONDITIONING SYSTEM, DISTRIBUTED POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM, POWER CONTROL SYSTEM, SERVICE MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A service management device is provided with a classification processing means that classifies and calculates, for each of a plurality of power supply apparatuses, details of input/output power in a service carried out using at least one of the power supply apparatuses; and a service recording means that records, for each classification performed by the classification processing means, details of an amount of power input/output as a result of execution of the service.
Systems and Methods for Situational Suppression of Overcurrent Protection
A includes a plurality of power supply units, a processor, and a non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when engaged by the processor, cause performance of a set of functions. The set of functions includes detecting an overcurrent of a first power supply unit of the plurality of power supply units. The set of functions includes determining that the overcurrent of the first power supply unit corresponds to current sharing between the plurality of power supply units. The set of functions includes in response to determining that the overcurrent of the first power supply corresponds to the current sharing, suppressing an overcurrent protection mode of the first power supply.
POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, SERVER, AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING POWER DEMAND AND SUPPLY
A power management system includes a plurality of power adjustment resources electrically connected to a microgrid MG, and a CEMS server that manages the power adjustment resources. The CEMS server outputs a power adjustment request to a plurality of power adjustment resources when suppression of power consumption or consumption of surplus power is requested in the microgrid MG, and gives an incentive to the power adjustment resource that performs power adjustment in response to the power adjustment request among the power adjustment resources. The CEMS server increases the incentive more as a deviation of a second power amount adjusted by a responding resource with respect to a first power amount requested for adjustment by the power adjustment request is smaller.
The CEMS server outputs a power adjustment request to the power adjustment resources when suppression of power consumption or consumption of surplus power in the microgrid MG is requested, and gives an incentive to a “responding resource” as the power adjustment resource that performs power adjustment in response to the power adjustment request among the power adjustment resources. The CEMS server increases the incentive more as a deviation of a time period during which the power adjustment is performed by the responding resource, with respect to a time period determined in the power adjustment request is smaller.
GRID-CONNECTED UNIDIRECTIONAL POWER SUPPLY
A power system connectable to an electric utility grid includes a local bus connected to at least one non-grid source of electrical energy; an electrical connection between the local bus and an electric utility grid; and a unidirectional AC-to-DC power supply electrically interposed between the electric utility grid and the local bus, the power supply having an AC side and a DC side, wherein the power supply is configured to allow energy flow only from the AC side to the DC side.
