A battery overcharge preventing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a voltage distribution unit connected to both ends of at least one battery cell in a battery module including multiple battery cells, the voltage distribution unit being configured to distribute a voltage of the at least one battery cell according to a preset ratio; a voltage sensing unit operating so as to allow a control current to flow when the voltage distributed by the voltage distribution unit is greater than a preset reference voltage; and a second relay configured to block, by operation of the voltage sensing unit, operation of a first relay that establishes an electrical connection between the battery module and a charging module.
Battery device
A battery device includes a battery pack, a circuit substrate which acquires battery information on the battery pack or controls charge and discharge of the battery pack, a switch including a first power element or a second power element, and a heat radiator. The switch is a device controlling input and output of electric power to and from the battery pack, and an exterior part of the switch is arranged away from the circuit substrate. The heat radiator is a member made of a material having thermal conductivity, and is in direct contact with or indirect contact via a heat conductor with the exterior part of the switch so that heat of the switch can be transferred.
System and method of capacitance control
A system and method of capacitance management in an agricultural vehicle and connected implement, wherein the vehicle and implement have a plurality of electric drives connected to a common connection and connectable to a direct current supply, and each electric drive has an associated Y capacitor between each direct current supply connection and the common connection, wherein the method includes receiving and summing capacitance values for each of the electric drives and comparing with a stored threshold value. If the threshold value is exceeded, a sequence of selective disconnections of individual electric drives is performed until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value. The method may be performed manually, or automatically based on a sequence defined in a priority list until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value.
Charging management apparatus
An on-board charging management apparatus includes a vehicle-side earth line connected with an external-side earth line of an external power unit; a vehicle-side signal line connected with an external-side signal line of the external power unit; and a detection signal line configured to connect the vehicle-side signal line and the vehicle-side earth line. Presence or absence of a disconnection of the external-side earth line and the vehicle-side earth line is determined based on an electric current value or a voltage value of the detection signal line, when the external power unit is in a connected state. As a consequence, the on-board charging management apparatus can detect a disconnection of the earth line at the time of charging an on-board electric storage device.
Shoot-through current limiting circuit
Aspects of the disclosure provide for a circuit. In at least some examples, the circuit includes a logic circuit, a first comparator, a second comparator, and an AND logic circuit. The logic circuit has an output and the first comparator has a first input coupled to an input voltage (VIN) pin, a second input configured to receive a Vin under voltage lockout (VINUVLO) threshold value, and an output. The second comparator has a first input coupled to a power middle (PMID) pin, a second input coupled to a battery pin, and an output and the AND logic circuit has a first input coupled to the output of the logic circuit, a second input coupled to the output of the first comparator, a third input coupled to the output of the second comparator, and an output coupled to an input of a field-effect transistor (FET) control circuit.
Protection circuits for wireless power receivers
Exemplary protection circuitry for wireless power systems can include a battery disconnect circuit, a load dump protection circuit, and/or a coil disconnect circuit. One or more of these protection circuits may be employed by a wireless power receiver. Further, one or more of these protection circuits may enable a wireless power receiver to be able to protect itself independently from a wireless power transmitter, thereby increasing safety of the wireless power system.
Power supply system for mobile body
A power supply system includes: a voltage converter that converts a voltage between first and second power circuits; a power controller that controls charging and discharging of first and second batteries; a cooling output controller that controls cooling output for the second battery; a temperature remaining-capacity acquirer that acquires a temperature remaining-capacity T2_mar; and a cooling remaining-capacity acquirer that acquires a cooling remaining-capacity PC2_mar depending on a difference between maximum cooling output and the cooling output of the second cooler. The power controller is configured to stop the voltage converter in a case where at least one of the temperature remaining-capacity T2_mar and the cooling remaining-capacity PC2_mar is less than an associated one of a threshold value for the temperature remaining-capacity and a threshold value for the cooling remaining-capacity and a potential difference between the first and second batteries is equal to or more than a potential difference threshold value.
