As the running mode, the method for controlling a hybrid vehicle includes a normal mode configured to perform charging of the battery according to a running state; and a charge mode configured to electric power generation by the engine according to a mode operation, the method comprising setting an upper limit of charging electric power based on the generated electric power in the charge mode to be lower than an upper limit of charging electric power based on the generated electric power in the normal mode.

Intelligent engine offload of auxiliary loads for enhanced engine durability

Provided are embodiments for a system for offloading non-thrust loads. The system includes one or more thrust loads, and one or more non-thrust loads, and a controller that is operably coupled to the one or more thrust loads and the one or more non-thrust loads. The controller is configured to control the thrust loads and non-thrust loads, receive input from one or more sources, and identify a phase of flight based at least in part on the received input. The controller is also configured to offload one or more non-thrust loads during the phase of flight, and restore the one or more non-thrust loads. Also provided are embodiments for method for offloading non-thrust loads.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle control apparatus is to be provided in a vehicle including a wireless charger that charges a mobile device placed on the wireless charger. The vehicle control apparatus includes an interruption detector, a cause determination unit, and a notification controller. The interruption detector detects interruption of charging of the mobile device by the wireless charger, based on an operating state of the wireless charger. The cause determination unit determines whether a cause of the interruption of the charging is a first or second cause. The first cause is that the mobile device is moved by inertia during traveling. The second cause is that the mobile device is moved by a passenger. When the cause is determined as being the first cause, the notification controller notifies information about the interruption of the charging in a more prominent manner than when the cause is determined as being the second cause.

The disclosure is directed to methods and systems for provisioning mobile electric vehicles with various operational settings data transmitted over the air. A vehicle or its components may operate according to operational settings corresponding to operational settings data included in the vehicle components. A server that is remote to the vehicle may comprise operational settings data and may transmit operational settings data to the vehicle. The server may transmit operational settings data automatically, such as on a periodic basis, in response to a request, such as from a user or from a vehicle component or anytime new or updated operational settings data are available for the vehicle or its components.

Load operating device

A load operating device includes a power supply device which is detachable from a load and can supply power to the load in a state of being attached to the load and an electrical connection device which is provided integrally with the load and electrically connects the power supply device and the load in a state where the power supply device is attached to the load. The power supply device has a capacitor which stores power to be supplied to the load and a processing unit in which a power supply circuit from the capacitor to the processing unit via the electrical connection device is established in a state where the power supply device is electrically connected to the electrical connection device.

Vehicle power conversion apparatus and method

A vehicle power conversion apparatus is provided to reduce an overall system size by integrating a motor controller which generates power and a power supply apparatus which converts the power. The vehicle power conversion apparatus includes a driving motor which is connected to an engine and a power converter which selectively converts power in a plurality of modes to generate the power related to an operation of the driving motor. A first battery supplies the power for the conversion or receives the converted power.

On-board electrical system

An on-board electrical system includes a motor generator, a high-voltage battery, an electric power acquirer, an auxiliary subsystem, first and second step-down units, and a controller. The electric power acquirer is able to acquire electric power during travel of a vehicle, and able to feed acquired electric power to the high-voltage battery. The auxiliary subsystem includes an auxiliary battery and auxiliary machinery. The controller determines whether or not magnitude of a load on the auxiliary battery is equal to or greater than predetermined magnitude. On the condition that the magnitude of the load is equal to or greater than the predetermined magnitude, the controller allows electric power from the electric power acquirer to be fed to the auxiliary subsystem through the second step-down unit.

Disclosed are a collaborative charging method, apparatus, and logistics device, which relate to the technical field of logistics. One specific implementation mode of the method comprises: judging whether remaining battery power of a first logistics device satisfies a preset charging condition; if so, determining a target second logistics device for charging the first logistics device; and controlling the target second logistics device to move to meet the first logistics device so as to charge the first logistics device. According to the implementation mode, collaborative charging between respective logistics devices can avoid problems such as low charging efficiency and energy waste caused by necessity of returning to a charging station for charging.

Controller and control method for vehicle

A controller for a vehicle is configured to execute, when a state of charge of a battery is less than or equal to a threshold, a charging control to charge the battery with power that is generated by a motor generator using driving force of an internal combustion engine. The controller is also configured to obtain a temperature of the battery, set the threshold to a first threshold during a warm-up period, which is a period from a start of the internal combustion engine until the warm-up of the internal combustion engine is completed, set the threshold to a second threshold, which is greater than the first threshold, when the warm-up period ends, and set the second threshold to be greater when the temperature of the battery is a first temperature than when the temperature of the battery is a second temperature, which is higher than the first temperature.
