20230016507 · 2023-01-19 · ·

A computer-readable recording medium storing a control program for causing a computer to execute a process, the process includes detecting, at predetermined time intervals, an average value of power detected from each breaker of breaker groups in a plurality of hierarchical levels to which power is supplied from a plurality of power supplies, and causing, in a case where there is a breaker of which the average value has an increase by a predetermined ratio or more in a certain hierarchical level and an upper hierarchical level of the certain hierarchical level among the plurality of hierarchical levels, one power supply among the plurality of power supplies to output power obtained by adding the increase in the breaker in the upper hierarchical level.

AUTOMATIC ISOLATION SWITCH FOR A MICROGRID

An automatic isolation switch (AIS) system is provided for controlling a supply of electrical power to a load. The system includes a switch and a controller. The switch is connected between a first power system and the load and between the first power system and a second power system. The first power system includes a grid, and the second power system includes a power source and an inverter coupled to the power source. The controller is configured to detect an adverse power condition on the first power system for supplying electrical power to the load; to isolate, via at least one switch, the first power system from the load and the second power system, in response to the detecting of the adverse power condition; and to activate the inverter of the second power system to supply electrical power from the second power system to the load.

Off-grid electrical power system

Various implementations power homes and businesses without needing to connect to electric utility company-provided power, i.e., they can operate off-grid. Generally the system includes solar panel racks (e.g., photovoltaic cells on sheets stabilized using ballasts, anchors, or mounting) that generate electrical power used to provide power to a building or that is stored on batteries. The system includes the solar panel racks and an enclosure to be installed at the premises and separate from the building. The enclosure includes the batteries and inverters that are electronically connected to the solar panel racks and batteries. The inverters are configured to convert direct current (DC) electricity from the solar power racks and batteries to alternating current (AC) electricity to provide power to the building via wires electrically connecting the inverters to the main panel of the building.

SOLAR-POWERED PROTECTIVE CAR CHARGING COVER
20230223896 · 2023-07-13 ·

A system for a solar-powered protective car charging cover. The solar-powered car charging cover is designed to directly trickle charge electric cars by bypassing the internal charging power supply whilst also providing a protective barrier around the vehicle. This trickle charge provides enough power for charging cellular phones, powering lights, and other small electronics without further draining the battery and may even produce a net-positive charge to charge the vehicle's batteries. The barrier portion is a multi-layer cover with an adjustable-rigid air bladder layer sandwiched between an outer solar-panel layer and an inner vehicle paint protection layer. Zippered portions provide multiple configurations including using the solar-powered car charging cover without a vehicle for a make-shift tent with solar-powered charging ports. A power control box provides the means to connect external power sources to the solar-powered car charging cover.

Power source control unit

A power source control unit is for controlling a switch that makes connection between a first power line and a second power line, a first system load being connected to a first power source through the first power line, a second system load being connected to a second power source through the second power line, wherein the power source control unit includes: an SOC acquisition portion as defined herein; a first SOC determination portion as defined herein; a second SOC determination portion as defined herein; a failure determination portion as defined herein; and a switch control portion as defined herein.

IN-VEHICLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
20230010374 · 2023-01-12 · ·

An in-vehicle power supply system supplies electric power to a large electric power load and a small electric power load. The in-vehicle power supply system includes a first power supply unit to output electric power having a first voltage higher than a total power supply voltage required by the large and small electric power loads, zone management units to manage predetermined zones on the vehicle, a power supply trunk line unit connecting the first power supply unit and the zone management units and a step-down conversion unit disposed in a zone of one zone management unit of the zone management units and to convert the electric power having the first voltage into electric power having a second voltage lower than the first voltage. The power supply trunk line unit includes a high-voltage power supply line to distribute the electric power having the first voltage.

Mini automatic transfer switch

An automatic transfer switch (100) for automatically switching an electrical load between two power sources is provided. Two power cords (106) enter the ATS (A power and B power inputs) and one cord (109) exits the ATS (power out to the load). The ATS has indicators (107) located beneath a clear crenelated plastic lens (108) that also acts as the air inlets. The ATS (100) also has a communication portal (103) and a small push-button (104) used for inputting some local control commands directly to the ATS (100). The ATS (100) can be mounted on a DIN rail at a rack and avoids occupying rack shelves.

Power supply switching apparatus

A power supply switching apparatus includes a first switching unit supplying power from a first conductive path to a first output path when the voltage of the first conductive path is greater than the voltage of a second conductive path, and supplies power from the second conductive path to the first output path. A second switching unit 80 supplies power from a fourth conductive path to a second output path when the voltage of a fourth conductive path is greater than the voltage of a third conductive path, and supplies power from the third conductive path to the second output path. An element unit allows a current to flow from the second conductive path to the third conductive path when the voltage of the third conductive path is smaller than the voltage of the second conductive path, and otherwise blocks a current.
