Responsive to receiving the indication that the frequency anomaly event has occurred, the processor is also configured to determine, for at least one of the energy resource and the deferrable load, based on the frequency value, the nominal frequency value, and a power value of the electrical network, a respective power command, and cause at least one of the at least one energy resource and the at least one deferrable load to modify operation based on the respective power command.

Energy management system, server, energy management method, and storage medium

According to an embodiment, energy management system includes client and server. Server includes acquisition unit, estimation unit, calculator and controller. Acquisition unit acquires data concerning electrical equipment in a building including a storage battery from client. Estimation unit estimates energy demand and energy generation amount in building based on the data. Calculator calculates, based on the energy demand and the energy generation amount, operation schedule of the electrical equipment to optimize energy balance in building under a constraint that minimizes dump power to be discarded after storage battery is fully charged. Controller creates control information to control electrical equipment based on operation schedule.

Method and apparatus for providing electrical energy

Electrical energy is made available incrementally for at least one session (for example for charging an electric vehicle), i.e. to prevent, by way of the delayed provision of the electrical energy, the occurrence of brief severe loading of the energy network. For example, a newly determined load distribution can lead to redistribution of electrical energy for a large number of charging stations, and this redistribution is preferably not carried out at once at a single time for all the affected charging stations but instead is carried out distributed, for example, over multiple points in time. This is advantageous and useful in electric mobility and in load management when charging multiple electric vehicles.

Fault isolation and service restoration in an electric grid

Fault isolation and service restoration in an electrical grid are provided. An approach for receiving a notification message including a state of an electrical component on an electrical grid, and determining, by a computing system, a command message including at least one action to take in response to the state of the electrical component, is described. The approach further includes sending the command message to at least one of the electrical component and other electrical components on the electrical grid.

SYSTEM FOR DESIGNING A LOW-VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AT A SECONDARY UNIT SUBSTATION

A system, having a controller, with a 3-phase measurement sensor, wherein the 3-phase measurement sensor is connected at least for current measurement to a low-voltage feeder of a secondary unit substation, and wherein a distribution network with producers and/or consumers is connected to the low-voltage feeder. The controller and the 3-phase measurement sensor are arranged in the secondary unit substation. The controller has a data interface for detecting electrical measurement values of the connected 3-phase measurement sensor with associated timestamp. The controller has a communication interface for connection to a higher-level unit outside of the secondary unit substation. The controller has a first memory area in a local memory for storing the measurement values with associated timestamp.

An electric system includes a local power controller and solar panel system that includes a plurality of solar modules on one or more branch circuits. A method for commissioning the electric system includes an installer using a commissioning device to send and receive information from a remote system and the local power controller performing an automatic self-test of the electric system. The results of the self-test may be packaged with photographs and measurements of the electric system and sent to a remote system where an inspector can inspect the electric system remotely. After receiving approval by the inspector, the local power controller may automatically activate each branch circuit of the electric system and thus enabling the electric system to generate electricity.

System for the monitoring and maintenance of remote autonomously powered lighting installations

A system of monitoring and/or maintaining remotely located autonomously powered lights, security systems, parking meters, and the like is operable to receive data signals from a number of the devices, and provide a comparison with other similar devices in the same geographic region to detect a default condition of a particular device, and/or assess whether the defect is environmental or particular to the specific device itself. The system includes memory for storing operating parameters and data, and outputs modified control commands to the devices in response to sensed performance, past performance and/or self-learning algorithms. The system operates to provide for the monitoring and/or control of individual device operating parameters on an individual or regional basis, over preset periods.
