The present invention provides a system of providing a control service for a TVWS-based hybrid energy storage apparatus in which DC power generated based on solar power is charged into a hybrid solar energy storage device including a plurality of supercapacitors, batteries, supercapacitor modules and battery modules, and the power is supplied to a plurality of loads using the charged power. The system includes: a data collection unit configured to collect storage voltage data for the respective supercapacitors, batteries, supercapacitor modules, and battery modules in the hybrid energy storage apparatus and power consumption data of each load; a central control unit configured to transmit the data collected by the data collection unit through a TVWS channel; a TVWS gateway connected to the hybrid energy storage apparatus through the TVWS channel to receive the data collected by the data collection unit and transmit the data through a wireless communication network; and a control server which is connected to the TVWS gateway to receive the data, and based on the received data, generate control data for the hybrid energy storage apparatus related to amounts of power charge and discharge of the respective supercapacitors and batteries and power consumption data of each of the loads to provide the data to a manager side device.
DISCONNECTOR DEVICE WITH PASSIVE RADIO DEVICE, GRID PROTECTION SYSTEM HAVING THE DISCONNECTOR DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR INDICATING A STATE OF THE DISCONNECTOR DEVICE
A disconnector device is connectable to pole-mounted equipment in a power grid. The disconnector device is activated in case of an overload condition, thereby disconnecting the pole-mounted equipment. The disconnector device comprises a passive radio device to be enabled via an incoming radio signal. The passive radio device, upon being enabled, transmits, in at least one state of the disconnector device, an indicator radio signal indicative of the respective state of the disconnector device, the state being one of an activated state and a deactivated state of the disconnector device.
Method of battery charging and energy station
A method of battery charging is to be implemented by an energy station communicable with a cloud server that stores reference battery identifiers. The method includes: detecting a provided battery identifier of a battery, and transmitting the provided battery identifier to the cloud server so as to enable the cloud server to determine one of the reference battery identifiers that matches the provided battery identifier, and to determine to which one of a first lease code and a second lease codes the one of the reference battery identifiers thus determined corresponds; and being controlled to charge the battery when it is determined that the one of the reference battery identifiers thus determined by the cloud server corresponds to the first lease code.
Intelligent circuit breakers with visual indicators to provide operational status
A circuit breaker includes a circuit breaker housing, an air-gap switch disposed within the housing, and a first visual indicator configured to provide an indication of an open state and a closed state of the air-gap switch. The first visual indicator includes a first window that is formed as part of the circuit breaker housing, and first and second indicator elements disposed within the circuit breaker housing. The first indicator element is configured to move into position behind the first window as the air-gap switch is placed into the open state and thereby provide a visual indication of the open state of the air-gap switch. The second indicator element is configured to move into position behind the first window as the air-gap switch is placed into the closed state and thereby provide a visual indication of the closed state of the air-gap switch.
ACTIVELY HEATED OR COOLED GARMENTS OR FOOTWEAR
Garments or footwear with active temperature control include one or more heating or cooling elements, one or more batteries, and one or more power receivers. Circuitry of the garment of footwear is configured to control the delivery of power to the one or more heating or cooling elements to heat or cool one or more portions of the garment associated with the one or more heating or cooling elements.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS FOR ENABLING A PRIVATE UTILITY
Systems, methods, and computer systems for intelligent power supply are provided herein. The system enables a private utility at a building. The system includes a plurality of power sources. Each of the power sources is configured to provide power to the building when enabled. The system also includes at least one external data source, at least one onsite data source, and a computer system. The computer system is communicatively connected to the power sources, the external data source, and the onsite data source. The computer system receives external data from the external data source and building data from the onsite data source. The computer system determines a preferred power source based on the external data and the building data.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SERVICING DISTRIBUTED ENERGY GENERATION SYSTEMS USING AN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
Methods and systems for servicing distributed generators are provided herein. For example, a system for servicing distributed generators comprises a distributed generator comprising a plurality of components, a controller communicatively connected to the plurality of components, and an unmanned aerial vehicle communicatively coupled to at least one of the plurality of components or the controller for at least one of transmitting and receiving data relating to the plurality of components.
Electronic meter
Presented is an electronic meter for supplying driving power to a battery module charged by wireless power transmission. The presented electronic meter includes a usage detection module for detecting energy usage of a consumer, a control module for generating meter data based on the energy usage detected by the usage detection module, a communication module for transmitting the meter data generated by the control module to a meter reading server or a repeater, a battery module composed of a secondary cell, and for supplying driving power to the usage detection module, the control module, and the communication module, and a wireless power receiving module for receiving power wirelessly from a wireless power transmission device to charge the battery module.
Storage system configured for use with an energy management system
A storage system configured for use with an energy management system is provided and includes a single-phase AC coupled battery or a three-phase AC coupled battery, a plurality of microinverters that are configured to connect to one or more battery cell core pack that form a local grid, and a controller configured to detect when to charge or discharge the single-phase AC coupled battery or the three-phase AC coupled battery so that energy can be stored therein when energy is abundant and used when energy is scarce.
Systems and methods for ai-assisted electrical power grid fault analysis
Systems, methods, and processor-readable storage media for AI-assisted electrical power grid fault analysis predict the cause of a fault and cause the fault to be remedied by receiving an indication that a first fault has occurred, identifying a plurality of additional fault records associated with the first fault, obtaining a first prediction of the cause of the fault based on the first fault record and the plurality of fault records by applying the fault records to a machine learning model, obtaining a second prediction of the cause of the fault by applying the fault records to a rules-based model, and obtaining a final prediction of the cause of the first fault based on the first prediction and the second prediction. The final prediction of the cause of the first fault is used to cause the predicted cause of the first fault to be remedied.
