Methods and systems for distributed verification and control of a resource distribution network
A system may include a device including a sensor configured to measure a parameter of a resource distributed along a distribution line of the resource distribution system and one or more validation devices. Each validation device includes a sensor configured to measure the parameter of the resource distributed along the distribution line or a related parameter. When the device detects that the parameter is out-of-range condition, it sends a query to the validation devices requesting information on the parameter or the related parameter. When the information regarding the parameter or related parameter also indicates an out-of-range condition, then the system validates the out-of-range condition. After validating the condition, the system may control a resource regulation device to adjust the parameter.

A system for evaluating operation of a first battery based on measured temperature and voltage monitored in the first battery and in a plurality of other batteries, the system comprising: a battery monitor circuit and a remote device in communicative connection with the battery monitor circuit, wherein the battery monitor circuit wirelessly transmits temperature and voltage information for the first battery to the remote device, wherein the remote device receives temperature and voltage information associated with a plurality of other batteries, and the remote device is configured to evaluate a condition of the first battery as a function of both: (i) the temperature and voltage information of the first battery and (ii) the temperature and voltage information of the plurality of other batteries.
Information processing device, information processing method, and information processing system
An information processing device includes: a reception unit configured to receive operation information on a power supply device from the power supply device that supplies power to an electric apparatus detachably connected thereto; a ranking unit configured to rank a user of the power supply device based on the received operation information; and a setting unit configured to set an incentive to the user based on a rank of the ranked user. The operation information includes: fuel consumption information indicating a fuel consumption amount of an engine generator; and measurement information indicating measurement results of voltage and current that the power supply device is supplying to the electric apparatus. The ranking unit identifies fuel consumption based on the fuel consumption information and the measurement information, and ranks the user based on the identified fuel consumption.
Spectral analysis using wireless current sensors
The present disclosure relates to spectral analysis in wireless current sensors. For example, a wireless current sensor (WCS) includes current transformer windings that harvest electrical energy from a power line and allow the WCS to obtain current measurements of the power line. The WCS includes a processor that obtains the current measurements of the power line via the current transformer windings. The processor generates a frequency domain representation of the current on the power line using the current measurements. The processor sends a wireless signal indicating results from the frequency domain representation to an intelligent electronic device (IED) that monitors the power line to allow the TED to analyze the results for anomalies.

A power relay device includes a power receiver configured to wirelessly receive power of a first class when coupled with a wireless power transmission device, a first power converter configured to convert power supplied from the power receiver into a form appropriate for a first mobile terminal, a second power converter configured to receive power from the first power converter and to convert the power into power of a second class, and a power transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the power of the second class to a second mobile terminal.
RESTORATION MANAGEMENT
A system and method for controlling an operation of devices in a power distribution network. The method determines that there is a power loss in the network as a result of a fault and one or more teams is not receiving power and performs a switching process in switching devices to prevent fault current from flowing to the fault. The method initiates a power restoration process to control the open and closed status of switching devices to isolate the fault and performs the power restoration process by the leader device in a division that the fault is occurring that includes opening and closing switching devices so that power is provided to all of the teams except the team that the fault is in. The method reconfigures the divisions based on which switching devices are now open and selects new leader devices based on the reconfiguration of the divisions.
RADIAL RESTORATION
A system and method for restoring power in a power distribution network. The network includes at least two power sources, at least one feeder and a plurality of switching devices positioned along the at least one feeder and being in communications with each other. The method determines that one or more of network sections is not receiving power, and determining a plurality of possible power restoration solutions that identify what sections each of the power sources that are available to provide power can provide power to based on a power capacity of the sources and a load requirement of the sections. The method applies predetermined selection criteria to the plurality of possible solutions to determine which of the possible solutions will be used as an actual solution, and selectively switches the switching devices between open and closed states to apply the actual solution.
CLOSED LOOP RESTORATION
A system and method for restoring power in a closed-loop power distribution network. The network includes at least two power sources, at least one feeder and a plurality of switching devices positioned along the at least one feeder and being in communications with each other. The method performs a radial restoration process for restoring power and then determines that at least one of the sections is not receiving power after the radial restoration process has been performed. The method estimates power flow through each switching device and determines an available power capacity from each switching device. The method then determines if the unpowered sections can be powered by any of their neighbor and non-neighbor devices. The method virtually closes the switching devices to power the unpowered sections and updates the estimation of power flow through each switching device and determination of available power capacity from each switching device.
