Selectively deployable heated propulsor system

A selectively deployable heated propulsor system which may be integrated into vehicles, airplanes, or any other machinery configured for flight. The system includes a structural feature that includes a mounted propulsor including a rotor and a motor mechanically coupled to the rotor allowing the rotor to rotate when in an activated mode. The mounted propulsor includes a chamber configured to support a first configuration where the propulsor and the rotor are stowed and heated in an enclosed environment, and a second configuration where the rotor is deployed.

Synchronous Reluctance Motor

A synchronous reluctance motor includes: an annular stator; and a rotor disposed radially inside the stator. The stator includes an annular stator core having in its inner peripheral portion a plurality of slots located at intervals in a circumferential direction of the stator, and slot coils accommodated in the slots. The slot coils are formed by a wire having a quadrilateral section and are wound in the slots by distributed winding.

An alternator device for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy, including first rotating disk comprising first coils ducts; second rotating disk including second coil ducts; a magnet located intermediate the first and second rotating disks to generate first magnetic field having first magnetic pole at the first coil ducts and second magnetic field having second magnetic pole opposite the first magnetic pole at the second coil ducts; and a coil base intermediate the first and second rotating disks, the coil base to receive coils aligned with the first and second coil ducts; wherein the first and second rotating disks are adapted to rotate along a rotation axis while the magnet and the coil base remain in static position, rotation of the rotating disks enabling a rotational movement of the magnetic fields through the coils for generation of electric current within the coils, and a method of manufacturing such device.

Breathing electric motor

An electric motor has efficient self-cooling. The electric motor contains a rotor that is rotatably mounted with respect to a stator. On a first sub-segment of an end face of the rotor, a first air-guiding contour is formed that, during rotation of the rotor in a reference rotation direction, generates an outwardly directed air flow. On a second sub-segment of the same end face, a second air-guide contour is formed that, during rotation of the rotor in a reference rotation direction, generates an inwardly directed air flow.

An electronic watch includes a power source, an electrostatic motor including a rotor in which a plurality of electret films are arranged in a rotational direction and a plurality of fixed electrodes arranged in the rotational direction at positions facing the rotor, a hand rotating in conjunction with the rotation of the rotor, and a motor control circuit controlling the electrostatic motor. The motor control circuit selectively executes a hand movement mode for rotating the hand and a stop mode for keeping the hand stationary. In the stop mode, the motor control circuit keeps the rotor stationary through electrostatic forces exerted on the electret films from the fixed electrodes with the polarities of the fixed electrodes maintained.

A machine having two co-axial and relatively rotatable rotors and a coaxial stator or housing with respect to which both rotors are rotatable is provided wherein two bearing arrangements mutually support the two rotors with respect to each other and with respect to the stator or housing. One of the bearing arrangements comprises multiple support bearings angularly spaced apart with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotors relative to the stator with the support bearings each having an axle or shaft that is fixed relative to one of the rotors or the stator. Each support bearing cooperates with a raceway provided on a concentric adjacent rotor or stator. The machine may be an electromechanical machine such as a wind turbine in which rotational movement of one of the rotors relative to the other and relative to the stator generates electrical energy.
