Linear power generator
A linear power generator includes a columnar or cylindrical center yoke made of a soft magnetic material and an outer yoke made of a soft magnetic material. In the center yoke, rod-shaped permanent magnets magnetized in a circumferential direction are arranged in the circumferential direction in an outer circumference of the center yoke such that opposed magnetic poles of the permanent magnets adjacent to each other become identical, the permanent magnets are extended in an axial direction, and the center yoke includes plural center-side projecting portions linearly arranged in the circumferential direction. The cylindrical or columnar outer yoke includes plural winding portions, plural groove portions, and an outer-side projecting portion. The winding portions are arranged in the circumferential direction about a center axis. The groove portions are arranged at positions opposed to the permanent magnets.
Linear power generator
A linear power generator includes a columnar or cylindrical center yoke made of a soft magnetic material and an outer yoke made of a soft magnetic material. In the center yoke, rod-shaped permanent magnets magnetized in a circumferential direction are arranged in the circumferential direction in an outer circumference of the center yoke such that opposed magnetic poles of the permanent magnets adjacent to each other become identical, the permanent magnets are extended in an axial direction, and the center yoke includes plural center-side projecting portions linearly arranged in the circumferential direction. The cylindrical or columnar outer yoke includes plural winding portions, plural groove portions, and an outer-side projecting portion. The winding portions are arranged in the circumferential direction about a center axis. The groove portions are arranged at positions opposed to the permanent magnets.
Inhibiting rocking of loads driven by plural levers
An apparatus includes a load and a first armature. A first lever mechanically couples the first armature and the load. Motion of the first armature causes the first lever to pivot about a first pivot axis. The apparatus also includes a second armature and a second lever that mechanically couples the second armature and the load. Motion of the second armature causes the second lever to pivot about a second pivot axis. At least one stator is provided for creating magnetic flux for the first and second armatures to interact with, thereby to drive motion of the load. The apparatus also includes a coupling mechanism that couples the first lever and the second lever. The coupling mechanism is arranged to encourage common mode oscillation of the first and second levers and inhibit differential mode oscillation of the first and second levers, thereby to inhibit rocking of the load.
Inhibiting rocking of loads driven by plural levers
An apparatus includes a load and a first armature. A first lever mechanically couples the first armature and the load. Motion of the first armature causes the first lever to pivot about a first pivot axis. The apparatus also includes a second armature and a second lever that mechanically couples the second armature and the load. Motion of the second armature causes the second lever to pivot about a second pivot axis. At least one stator is provided for creating magnetic flux for the first and second armatures to interact with, thereby to drive motion of the load. The apparatus also includes a coupling mechanism that couples the first lever and the second lever. The coupling mechanism is arranged to encourage common mode oscillation of the first and second levers and inhibit differential mode oscillation of the first and second levers, thereby to inhibit rocking of the load.

The apparatus may include a magnet wheel that may include a magnet. A magnetic field produced by the magnet of the pulse device may repulse the magnet of the magnet wheel and turn the magnet wheel. The apparatus may include an axle connected to the magnet wheel. The axle may rotate in response to the magnet wheel turning. A system and method are also disclosed.
