Busbar, motor, and power transmission system using same
Disclosed in one embodiment is a busbar comprising: an insulating body; a plurality of neutral terminals arranged in the insulating body; and a plurality of first driving terminals, second driving terminals, and third driving terminals arranged in the insulating body, wherein the plurality of neutral terminals, first driving terminals, second driving terminals, and third driving terminals are electrically insulated, respectively, and the shape of the plurality of the first driving terminals, the second driving terminals, and the third driving terminals are the same.
SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR AND METHOD THEREFORE
The invention involves a switched reluctance motor, comprising a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator. The stator comprises several circumferentially arranged coils and stator poles, the stator poles forming the cores of the coils. The rotor comprises several counter poles for interacting with the stator poles for applying a reluctance torque on the rotor. The motor comprises phase inputs for receiving an actuation signal for actuating one or more phase stages. Each stator coil is associated with a phase stage, such that each phase stage comprises at least two coils. Each phase stage comprises a circuit stage including a switching arrangement comprising switches for selectively switching the coils of said phase stage in either one of a parallel, a serial, or a parallel-serial electrical configuration.
SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR AND METHOD THEREFORE
The invention involves a switched reluctance motor, comprising a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator. The stator comprises several circumferentially arranged coils and stator poles, the stator poles forming the cores of the coils. The rotor comprises several counter poles for interacting with the stator poles for applying a reluctance torque on the rotor. The motor comprises phase inputs for receiving an actuation signal for actuating one or more phase stages. Each stator coil is associated with a phase stage, such that each phase stage comprises at least two coils. Each phase stage comprises a circuit stage including a switching arrangement comprising switches for selectively switching the coils of said phase stage in either one of a parallel, a serial, or a parallel-serial electrical configuration.
LIM-DRIVEN ROLLER TRANSFER APPARATUS
An activated roller transfer apparatus for transferring articles between one conveyor and another. The roller transfer apparatus comprises a linear-induction-motor stator as a primary and electrically conductive article-supporting rollers as a secondary. The linear-motor stator generates a traveling magnetic flux wave that induces eddy currents in the rollers. The eddy currents produce magnetic fields that interact with the flux wave to produce forces that rotate the rollers to propel articles across a gap between the ends of the two conveyors. The stator is generally trapezoidal in shape to comport with the shape of the gap.
LIM-DRIVEN ROLLER TRANSFER APPARATUS
An activated roller transfer apparatus for transferring articles between one conveyor and another. The roller transfer apparatus comprises a linear-induction-motor stator as a primary and electrically conductive article-supporting rollers as a secondary. The linear-motor stator generates a traveling magnetic flux wave that induces eddy currents in the rollers. The eddy currents produce magnetic fields that interact with the flux wave to produce forces that rotate the rollers to propel articles across a gap between the ends of the two conveyors. The stator is generally trapezoidal in shape to comport with the shape of the gap.
POLYPHASE AC ELECTRIC MOTOR
Object: To provide a polyphase AC electric motor whereby partial discharge can be suppressed.
Resolution Means: The winding of each phase includes a first partial conductor that is an input side partial conductor; an nth partial conductor connected to a neutral point; and second to n-1th partial conductors. Moreover, a partial conductor disposed within the stator adjacent to the first partial conductor of each phase, or a partial conductor including a coil end portion disposed adjacent to a coil end portion where the first partial conductor extends out of the slot, is any of the following: (1) of the intermediate partial conductors, an ath (where a is a natural number greater than or equal to 2) partial conductor of the same phase or a different phase where voltage takes an extreme value when AC voltage is applied from the inverter; (2) any of an a-3th to a-1th partial conductors of the same phase or a different phase, or any of an a+1th to a+3th partial conductors of the same phase or a different phase connected to the intermediate partial conductor taking the extreme value; (3) any of a n-3th to nth partial conductors of the same phase or a different phase.

Electric Motor with Halbach Array and Ferrofluid Core
An electric motor apparatus is described that utilizes a Halbach array and a ferrofluid core. The electric motor comprises a rotor assembly and a stator assembly, each of which utilizes a Halbach array. A ferrofluid core is utilized in the stator, which results in a motor that is less susceptible to core loss and operates with increased efficiency.
High voltage electric machine equipped with galvanic separators for cascaded voltage stator modularization
A high voltage electric machine and power distribution system including one or more of such electric machines are provided. In one aspect, a high voltage electric machine includes a stator, a rotor, and a housing encasing at least a portion of the stator and rotor. The stator is modularized into cascaded voltage stator modules. The stator modules are galvanically isolated from one another by intermodular separators. At least one intermodular separator is positioned between each adjacent pair of stator modules. The stator modules are also galvanically isolated from the housing by a housing separator. The housing separator is positioned between the stator modules and the housing. Each stator module has an associated set of windings that are wound only within their associated stator module.
High voltage electric machine equipped with galvanic separators for cascaded voltage stator modularization
A high voltage electric machine and power distribution system including one or more of such electric machines are provided. In one aspect, a high voltage electric machine includes a stator, a rotor, and a housing encasing at least a portion of the stator and rotor. The stator is modularized into cascaded voltage stator modules. The stator modules are galvanically isolated from one another by intermodular separators. At least one intermodular separator is positioned between each adjacent pair of stator modules. The stator modules are also galvanically isolated from the housing by a housing separator. The housing separator is positioned between the stator modules and the housing. Each stator module has an associated set of windings that are wound only within their associated stator module.
