A motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a bobbin. The bobbin includes upper and lower bobbins covering the stator core from two axial ends. The upper and lower bobbins each include an end face and a side portion. The two end faces overlap two axial ends of the stator core. The side portions are aslant relative to the axial direction of the stator core. Ends of the upper and lower bobbins connected to the end faces form tight fit with the stator core, and the other ends away from the end faces form loose fit with the stator core.

A stator for a rotary electric machine includes a stator core including a stack of a plurality of steel sheets 36; a stator coil wound around teeth of the stator core; and a plurality of insulators interposed between the stator core and the stator coil. Each of the insulators has at least one engagement tab projecting toward a side surface of a tooth. Each of the steel sheets 36 has a plurality of tooth portions 40 that form the teeth when the steel sheets 36 are stacked. Each of some of the plurality of tooth portions 40 has a notch 42 formed on a side surface of the tooth portion 40, the notches 42 forming an engagement recess in which the engagement tab is hooked when the steel sheets 36 are stacked. The stator core is formed by rotating and stacking the plurality of steel sheets 36.

STATOR FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

A stator for an electric motor, in particular the steering motor of a motor vehicle, comprising a cylindrical stator yoke and a stator star joined therewith and having a number of radially outwardly directed stator teeth, the tooth tips thereof, in the assembly state, resting on the inner circumference of the stator yoke in corresponding connection points. The tooth tips on the stator star side, in the assembly state, in addition to being force-locked or frictionally locked with the connecting points on the stator yoke side in a press-fit, are also integrally bonded thereto.
