20170268596 · 2017-09-21 ·

Motor dampening provisions are described. Incorporation and use of the motor dampener(s) in a rotary type drain cleaning machine enables elimination of a clutch in the machine. Also described are clutch-free drive systems using the motor dampener(s). Also described are torque countering members that are used in conjunction with the motor dampener(s).

Two-speed transmission for electric driving vehicle

The present invention relates to a two-speed transmission for an electric driving vehicle and the two-speed transmission for an electric vehicle has only one actuator. The transmission comprises a planetary gear mechanism (12), an elastic body (44), an armature (26) to integrally rotate with an input axis, an electromagnetic coil (46) and a multi-plate friction clutch (30). A ring gear (20) is fixed to a housing. The armature (26) comprises clutch projection portions (26-1). A dog clutch is constituted by the clutch projection portions (26-1) and recess portions (18-2) of a sun gear (18). When the electromagnetic coil (46) is not electrically energized, the dog clutch is engaged. The rotation of the input axis is reduced and is transmitted to an output axis via the sun gear (18) and a carrier (16). When the electromagnetic coil (46) is electrically energized, the armature (26) is displaced against elastic force, the dog clutch becomes a non-engaging state, a multi-plate friction clutch (30) becomes an engaging state by pressing flange portions (26-4) of the armature (26) and the rotation of the input axis is transmitted to the output axis with a one-to-one relationship. The transmission can comprise a one-way clutch to prevent torque interruption when switching the gear ratio.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric generator which allows the magnitude of mutual magnetic action between a rotor and an armature to be self-adjusted in the electric generator against a fluctuation in a motive power or a fluctuation in an electric load, such that the magnitude of an induced electromotive force is controlled to compensate, with voltage variation, for amounts of the fluctuation in the motive power and the fluctuation in the electric load and to induce electricity with a uniform frequency from the electric generator, while stabilizing the prime mover or load devices, and parts optimized for the same. To this end, the present invention has an iron-piece structure in which the rotor and the armature of the electric generator mutually correspond to each other in a concave-convex structure, and the present invention is configured to be able to control the magnitude of the induced electromotive force, as the armature moves in the axial direction in response to a change in the rotation speed, output voltage, or frequency of the electric generator and, thereby, variably controls a mutually corresponding length of the concave-convex structure.

ELECTROMECHANICAL DISK BRAKE HAVING A PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR FOR MOTOR VEHICLES

The disclosure relates to an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator for motor vehicles. Parking brake actuators are used to prevent a vehicle from rolling away from the stationary state. In conventional disk brakes, a brake cylinder which is assigned to the disk brake is generally equipped with a mechanically actuated parking brake function. At the same time, the principle of the parking brake function used in a conventional disk brake cannot be used. It is an object of the disclosure to provide an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator, which is cost-effective and needs little construction space. The object can, for example, be achieved via an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator embodied as an electromagnetic linear drive.

LOCKING AGAINST ROTATION OF ELECTRIC MOTOR OF A LINEAR ACTUATOR

The present invention relates to a linear actuator with an improved electric motor. In particular, the invention focuses on improved technical solutions for braking or locking of a rotating electric motor by using an electro-mechanical locking mechanism. The mechanism uses a solenoid having a nonrotating locking element, which is displaceable by solenoid action and arranged to engage with a rotating locking element. In particular, solutions have been found in which a surprisingly small solenoid with a much-reduced requirement on stroke length may be deployed to effectively unidirectionally or bidirectionally lock against rotation of the motor.
