Brushless motor system for power tools
A stator for a brushless DC (BLDC) motor includes a stator core having stator teeth extending radially inwardly towards a center bore, stator windings respectively wound around the stator teeth, and insulating inserts having substantially the same longitudinal length as the stator core. The insulating inserts are longitudinally received between adjacent stator windings at or near inner tips of the adjacent stator teeth to substantially seal the center bore of the stator assembly from the stator windings.
Trigger lockout with dissimilar actions
A control assembly for selectively controlling actuation of an electric motor arranged to power a hand-held power tool based on combined performance of two dissimilar operator actions and a hand-held power tool including such a control assembly. A switch member may be closed responsive to an enabling action including a first of the two dissimilar operator actions. A throttle control member becomes operable responsive to actuation of the throttle control member past a first movement threshold, i.e. a second dissimilar operator action, while the switch member is in the actuated state. The throttle control member remains repeatedly operable above a second movement threshold, even if the switch member is opened. Actuation of the throttle control member to below the second movement threshold will render the throttle control member non-operable until renewed combined performance of the first and second dissimilar operator actions.
CIRCULAR SAW
A circular saw includes a blade guard and a saw blade at least partially enclosed within the blade guard. The saw blade has an outer diameter that is greater than 6 inches. The circular saw further includes a motor housing coupled to the blade guard, a brushless electric motor supported within the motor housing, and a battery pack for providing power to the brushless electric motor.
BRUSHLESS MOTOR AND ELECTRIC TOOL
The rotor includes a rotary shaft, a rotor core, and a plurality of permanent magnets. The stator includes a stator core and a plurality of coils. The stator core has a first contact surface. A normal vector to the first contact surface is aligned with a radially inward direction defined for the rotary shaft. A bearing holder (first bearing holder) has a second contact surface in contact with the first contact surface. A normal vector to the second contact surface is aligned with a radially outward direction defined for the rotary shaft. The bearing holder is positioned by bringing the first contact surface into contact with the second contact surface.
Power tool
A power tool includes an electric motor having an output shaft, a transmission having a transmission housing, a spindle rotatable in response to receiving torque from the transmission and a pinion coupled to the output shaft. The pinion includes a bushing portion, a toothed portion for driving the transmission, and a cylindrical portion between the bushing portion and the toothed portion. The power tool further comprises a fan coupled to the bushing portion of the pinion and a bearing arranged between the cylindrical portion and the transmission housing for rotatably supporting the pinion and the output shaft.
Hand-Held Power Tool Comprising a Sensor Circuit Board
A hand-held power tool includes a tool receptacle, a housing, in which at least one electronically commutated drive motor is arranged for driving an insertion tool that can be arranged in the tool receptacle, and a sensor circuit board arranged in the housing and on which sensor elements are arranged for allowing sensor-controlled commutation of the electronically commutated drive motor. The power tool further includes at least one mounting element for mounting the sensor circuit board in the housing and for arranging the sensor circuit board on the electronically commutated drive motor. The sensor circuit board is mechanically decoupled from the electronically commutated drive motor.
ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE
An electric work machine includes: a motor having a rotor disposed in an interior of a stator and being rotatable about a rotational axis; and an output shaft, on which a tool accessory is mountable and which is configured to be driven using motive power output from the motor. The stator includes: a stator core; a coil wound on a portion of the stator core; and a fusing terminal disposed more inward in a radial direction of the stator core than the coil and being connected to the coil.
Electric motor assembly and hair dryer having the same
An electric motor assembly for, for example, a hair dryer, includes an impeller, an outer housing in which the impeller is accommodated, an inner housing concentrically disposed in the outer housing, a stator having one side thereof accommodated in the inner housing, a rotor provided with a rotating shaft having one end coupled to the impeller and rotatably accommodated in the stator, a first bearing disposed at one side of the rotor, a second bearing disposed at another side of the rotor, and a bracket coupled to the stator and the outer housing so as to support the second bearing. Accordingly, initial alignment of the stator and the rotor may be securely maintained.
ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
An electric work machine (1; 201) includes: a motor housing (6; 212) having a tube part (6C; 212C) and a bottom part (6M; 212M); a brushless motor (5; 228) having a stator (20), which has a first contact surface (58F; 258F), and a rotor (21; 231) disposed in the stator; a baffle plate (25; 285); and an output shaft (31; 292). The stator includes a tube-shaped stator core (50) having a ring-shaped second contact surface (50S; 250S) that is opposite of the first contact surface, and coils (56; 256) wound on the stator core. The stator is held by the motor housing with the first contact surface in contact with the bottom part. A protruding part (25S; 285S) of the baffle plate contacts the entire circumference of the second contact surface of the stator core and is fixed to the motor housing by three or more screws (68; 288).
ELECTRIC MOTOR
The present disclosure relates to an electric motor having a stator and a rotor. The rotor is fitted with permanent magnets which are surrounded by a rotor packet. A heat dissipating elementis attached to the rotor packet. A gap seal is formed between an outer diameter of the heat dissipating element and an inner diameter of a component connected to the stator. In some examples, the component may be a coil body connected to the stator.
