Support structures for intravascular blood pumps
An improved system for supporting (e.g., localization and/or positioning of) intravascular devices discussed herein provides for example a multi-element arrangement. A set of struts optionally projects from the intravascular device and contacts the vessel walls. The localization and positioning of the pump may be provided by the struts and/or by use of a tether opposing a propulsive force to ensure localization.
Blood pump
A blood pump comprises a pump casing having a blood flow inlet and a blood flow outlet, and an impeller arranged in said pump casing and rotatably supported in the pump casing by a bearing so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation. The impeller has blades for conveying blood from the blood flow inlet to the blood flow outlet. The bearing comprises at least one stationary bearing portion coupled to the pump casing and having a stationary bearing surface that faces radially outwards. The bearing further comprises a rotating bearing surface interacting with the stationary bearing surface to form the bearing, wherein the rotating bearing surface faces radially inwards and is formed on an exposed radially inner edge of the blades. The blades are designed to draw blood deposit on the stationary bearing surface in a radially outward direction.

DEVICE TO ASSIST THE PERFORMANCE OF A HEART
A device to assist the performance of a heart with at least one pump that is formed as a rotary pump and driven via a magneto coupling.

High efficiency blood pump
A blood pump can include a pump housing, an impeller, and a hub. The pump housing can be configured to move blood from an inlet to an outlet thereof. The impeller can be housed in the pump housing, have a plurality of blades joined by a central ring, and be radially supported at the central ring by a bearing. The hub can transmit torque to the impeller using a radial magnetic coupling.
PERCUTANEOUS CIRCULATORY SUPPORT DEVICE FACILITATING THROMBI DISSOLUTION
A percutaneous circulatory support device includes a housing and an impeller disposed within the housing. The impeller is rotatable relative to the housing to cause blood to flow through the percutaneous circulatory support device. The device further includes a reservoir disposed within the housing, and the reservoir carries at least one anticoagulant.

PERCUTANEOUS CIRCULATORY SUPPORT DEVICE FACILITATING REDUCED HEMOLYSIS
A percutaneous circulatory support device includes an impeller disposed within an impeller housing. The impeller is rotatable relative to the impeller housing to cause blood to flow through the percutaneous circulatory support device. The device further includes a liquid carrier carrying a liquid. The liquid carrier is rotatable relative to the impeller housing to cause the liquid to form outwardly extending menisci at a plurality of apertures of the liquid carrier.
