In an electric power steering apparatus, a motor housing includes an axial end part opposite to an output part of an electric motor. An electronic control section is arranged at the axial end part of the motor housing. The electronic control section includes a control circuit part, a power supply circuit part, and a power conversion circuit part. The axial end part of the motor housing includes a power conversion part thermal radiation region and a power supply part thermal radiation region. The power conversion circuit part is mounted to the power conversion part thermal radiation region to allow heat to be transferred from the power conversion circuit part to the motor housing. The power supply circuit part is mounted to the power supply part thermal radiation region to allow heat to be transferred from the power supply circuit part to the motor housing.

The present invention relates to a stator and a fan motor comprising same, the stator comprising: a stator core including a back yoke and a plurality of teeth that extend to protrude in the radius direction from the inner surface of the back yoke toward the center of the back yoke; a plurality of stator coils respectively wound around the plurality of teeth; and a plurality of teeth insulators for insulating the plurality of teeth from the plurality of stator coils, wherein each of the plurality of teeth insulators comprises: an insulator body for encompassing the teeth; and a plurality of heat-dissipating fins formed to protrude from the side surface of the insulator body so as to expand a contact area with the stator coil, and thus discharge heat of the stator coil, thereby maximizing cooling of coils through convection and conduction.

The bearing cooling system enables heat generated by the bearings to be transferred through the flywheel shaft to a heat sink disposed within a cavity in the end of the flywheel shaft, or to a liquid coolant circulating within the cavity.

An electric submersible well pump assembly includes a pump and an electrical motor filled with a dielectric lubricant. A capsule extends around a portion of the motor, defining a chamber between the capsule and the motor. A port through a side wall of the motor communicates the lubricant within the motor to the chamber. Thermoelectric devices are located within the chamber. Voltage supplied to the thermoelectric devices cools the lubricant.

The magnet and the ferromagnetic bodies include reciprocal retention devices at the opposing sides along the longitudinal axis. The electromagnetic machine includes electrical windings around respective pole portions of the ferromagnetic bodies, the electrical windings around the respective pole portions being independently controllable. The electromagnetic machine includes at least one cold plate configured to thermally isolate the magnet from the electrical windings.

Electrical machines

A stator assembly for an electrical machine comprises a stator, a plurality of inserts and a heat sink. The stator comprises an annular core extending around an axis (X) and a plurality of axially extending slots. A plurality of sets of electrical windings is arranged within the slots. The windings have axial end portions arranged at axial ends of the core. The inserts comprise ceramic plates which are arranged in respective slots in the gaps (G) between adjacent respective electrical windings in the slots. The inserts extend axially from the respective slots for engagement with the heat sink.

Electric power system for hypersonic speed operation

A powered system that has an electric power system with a stator having plural poles with each pole having a conductive winding that may surround the corresponding pole and may be configured to generate a magnetic field, and a rotor that may be configured to rotate in response to the magnetic field generated by the stator. The at least one of the conductive windings may be insulated with an insulation material configured to conduct heat from the at least one conductive winding while operating at a temperature above 600° C.

SEPARATOR HAVING DIRECT DRIVE

A separator includes a unit that rotates during operation, the unit having a drum and a drive spindle, and an electric drive motor for rotating the drive spindle and having a stator and a rotor. The rotor is arranged on the drive spindle and the stator is radially spaced apart from the rotor in a drive housing that does not rotate during operation. The stator has at least one or multiple winding heads. At least one chamber is formed on at least one of the winding heads, and in this chamber a coolant film or coolant bath forms during operation so that this winding head is cooled by means of coolant during operation.
