Method for producing a stator
Described is a method for producing a stator, in particular for electric motors. In a first step, a plurality of flexible electrical conductors are combined to form a conductor bundle. In a second step, two end regions of the conductor bundle are pressed in such a way that a central region of the conductor bundle formed between the two end regions remains flexible. Also described is a corresponding stator.
Continuous stator winding and electric machine comprising the same
Certain aspects relate to a continuous winding formed from a conductor of rectangular cross-section, the winding having a compound bend in the crowns connecting successive linear segments where the compound bend does not stress the conductor insulation to its failure point. The compound bend can be formed by applying force to the conductor in a first direction, thereby shaping a first bend in the conductor to form a u-shaped conductor having a crown and two linear segments, where the crown includes a v-shaped bend and two straight segments on either side of the v-shaped bend that each connect to one of the linear segments. A second bend can be formed by applying force to the conductor in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The shape of the second bend can depend on the desired radius of the winding when circularly wound and positioned in a stator.
ALIGNING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ALIGNED COIL
An aligning apparatus is provided for aligning coil segments in an annular shape to form an aligned coil. Each of the coil segments has a pair of first and second leg portions. The aligning apparatus includes an outer jig and an inner jig. The outer jig has partitioning members arranged in a radial fashion. The partitioning members are spaced at such intervals as to allow each of the first leg portions of the coil segments to be inserted between one circumferentially-adjacent pair of the partitioning members. The inner jig has hole-forming members arranged radially inside the partitioning members of the outer jig. Each of the hole-forming members has formed therein a hole in which one of the second leg portions of the coil segments is to be inserted. Moreover, the hole-forming members are configured to be rotatable relative to the outer jig in a circumferential direction and radially movable.
ALIGNING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ALIGNED COIL
An aligning apparatus, which is provided for aligning coil segments to form an aligned coil, includes a cylindrical jig and a hook jig. The cylindrical jig has an outer cylinder to surround a radially outer periphery of the aligned coil and an inner cylinder to be surrounded by a radially inner periphery of the aligned coil. The hook jig has hooks arranged in a radial fashion and is rotatable relative to the cylindrical jig in a radial direction. The cylindrical jig further has an inner entrance provided in the inner cylinder, an outer entrance provided in the outer cylinder, and at least one of an inner guide wall extending from a front opening edge of the inner entrance radially inward and backward in the rotational direction and an outer guide wall extending from a front opening edge of the outer entrance radially outward and backward in the rotational direction.
Stator manufacturing method and device therefor
The present invention pertains to a stator manufacturing method and a device therefor. All of segments are twisted in order to obtain a stator, the linear sections of the segments being inserted into slots in a stator core. The segments on the inner peripheral side are subsequently twisted after the segments on the outer peripheral side are untwisted. In order to achieve this, e.g., a fourth spindle that is positioned on the outermost peripheral side and is one of the first through fourth spindles for twisting the segments is disconnected from a fourth motor and brought to a non-rotatable state. The following is then performed in sequence: the third spindle is disconnected from a third motor and twisted, and the second spindle is disconnected from the second motor and twisted.
ELECTRIC DRIVE APPARATUS
An electric drive apparatus includes a rotating electric machine and a transmission. The transmission is provided, on one axial side of the rotating electric machine, integrally with the rotating electric machine. The rotating electric machine includes a stator coil that is assembled to a stator core to have first and second coil end parts respectively protruding from first and second axial end faces of the stator core. The axial protruding height of the second coil end part from the second axial end face of the stator core is larger than the axial protruding height of the first coil end part from the first axial end face of the stator core. The first coil end part is located on the same axial side of the stator core as the transmission whereas the second coil end part is located on the opposite axial side of the stator core to the transmission.
