METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A ROTOR FOR AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE WITH A CONTACTLESS POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, AND ROTOR, ELECTRICAL MACHINE AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for manufacturing a rotor for an electric machine with a contactless power transmission system, wherein an end winding cover is arranged on one end face of a laminated core of the rotor. The invention provides that a secondary unit (SEC) of the power transmission system is integrated in the end winding cover and, as a result, after the end winding cover has been arranged, the secondary unit (SEC) is held on the rotor indirectly via the end winding cover.
LINEAR MOTOR AND SECONDARY PART FOR A LINEAR MOTOR
A secondary part provides a magnetic path for a primary part of a linear motor and includes a spacer element as well as yoke plates forming two limbs, which are arranged for an attachment to the spacer element so thatsituated opposite each otherthey extend in planes parallel to the magnetic path. In addition, the secondary part includes a plurality of permanent magnets, which are fixed in place on inner sides of the yoke plates pointing toward the magnetic path. The permanent magnets each have a width that decreases in an extension direction perpendicular to the magnetic path.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING AN AXIAL FLUX MACHINE
An axial flux machine and a method for installing an axial flux machine has at least two active parts in a motor housing, of which active parts a first active part is configured as a rotor having a number of permanent magnets and a second active part is configured as a stator having a number of electrical windings, wherein the rotor and the stator are arranged adjacent to each other and in a rotation-proof manner, in a transport configuration in a space-saving package, in particular a stack, formed by the magnetic attractive forces of the permanent magnets.
DYNAMOELECTRIC ROTARY MACHINE WITH ELEMENTS FOR REDUCING TONAL NOISES
A dynamoelectric rotary machine includes a stator, which has a winding system arranged in grooves disposed between teeth of a magnetically conductive body and a winding head on the end faces of the stator in each case. A rotor with a cage ring is arranged rotatably about an axis and during operation of the dynamoelectric rotary machine is in electromagnetic interaction in a motor-driven or generator-driven manner with the winding system of the stator arranged in the grooves by way of an air gap. Comb-type elements are disposed on the end faces of the stator. The comb-type elements assume an extensive intermediate space between the winding system projecting from the end faces of the stator, so that tonal noises which are produced during operation of such an electric machine are at least reduced.
ELECTRICAL MACHINE AND MAINTENANCE METHODS THEREOF
In a first aspect, a method of performing maintenance operations in an electrical machine is provided. The method comprises positioning the rotor in a first position; disconnecting electrical windings, removing one or more segments of an electrical conductor ring and positioning the rotor in a second position without connecting the removed segments of the electrical conductor ring. In a further aspect, a method of operating an electrical machine is also provided. In yet a further aspect, it is provided an electrical machine comprising an electrical conductor ring having a releasable segment.
Coil support for a rotary electric motor
A coil support for preformed flat coils of a stator of an electric rotary motor includes an annular supporting structure and a plurality of columns extending upwardly from the supporting structure. The columns are spaced apart from each other to form a corresponding plurality of coil receiving portions configured to hold the preformed flat coils in place before a potting operation. Each of the coil receiving portions is configured to support a lower part of one of the preformed flat coils.
JOINED ASSEMBLY AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A joined assembly comprises a wire bundle and a metallic member joined to the wire bundle. The wire bundle includes a bundle of a plurality of conductive wires which are isolated from each other using inter-wire insulating layers and adhered to each other, the inter-wire insulating layers being made from insulating resin. The wire bundle includes a head portion and a head extension. The head portion is arranged on a first side of the wire bundle in a lengthwise direction (Da) thereof. The head extension extends from the head portion to a second side of the wire bundle away from the first side in the lengthwise direction. The metallic member includes a metallic member connecting portion arranged in contact with the head extension. The conductive wires are kept adhered to each other through the inter-wire insulating layers in the head extension and fusion-joined in the head portion to a portion of the metallic member connecting portion. The head portion of the wire bundle has the inter-wire insulating layers removed therefrom.
SERVOVALVE WITH ADJUSTABLE AIR GAPS
A torque motor for a servovalve is provided, the torque motor comprising an armature and a first pole piece. The first pole piece has a first portion and a second portion that is selectively moveable relative to the first portion such that a size of an air gap formed between the second portion and the armature is adjusted in response to the movement of the second portion relative to the first portion.
ROTATING ELECTROMECHANICAL APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF STATOR WINDING
The present disclosure relates to a rotating electromechanical apparatus including a ring-cylindrical ironless stator arranged adjacent to the inner surface or outer surface of a casing, respectively, which stator includes a continuous hairpin winding having two layers; a method for manufacturing the continuous hairpin winding comprising folding-over a ribbon of a plurality of wires successively to form a flattened helical ribbon, bending, into each wire of the flattened helical ribbon a straight segment, thereby forming a flattened quasi-helical ribbon, and rolling the flattened quasi-helical ribbon into a cylindrical shape to form a cylindrical continuous hairpin winding, with the straight segments running substantially parallel to a cylinder axis of the cylindrical shape; and a folding apparatus for manufacturing the continuous hairpin winding.
ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH A DUAL ROTOR AND A BOBBIN-LESS STATOR
A stator for an electric motor having a rotation axis includes a plurality of electric coils. Each one of the plurality of electric coils include an inner winding layer, a plurality of mid-winding layers, and an outer winding layer. The inner winding layer is wound about and spaced from a centerline that generally intersects the rotation axis, and defines an opening for the flow of cooling air. The plurality of mid-winding layers are disposed radially outward from the inner winding layer with respect to the centerline. Each mid-winding layer of the plurality of mid winding layers is disposed radially inward from the next adjacent mid-winding layer with respect to the centerline. The outer winding layer is disposed radially outward from the plurality of mid-winding layers with respect to the centerline.
