BRUSH DIRECT CURRENT ELECTRIC MOTOR
20250192655 · 2025-06-12 ·

A brushed DC motor includes a housing in which a receiving space is formed, a stator arranged in the receiving space and presenting magnetic poles, and a rotor having a rotor hub and a plurality of rotor teeth extending radially outward therefrom. Between each set of adjacent teeth of the plurality of rotor teeth a tooth slot is formed. The rotor hub is connectable to an output component to output power. Windings are positioned in the tooth slots. A ratio of the number of rotor teeth of the plurality of rotor teeth to the number of magnetic poles is not an integer. A number of windings in a first tooth slot of the tooth slots formed is different than a number of windings in a second tooth slot of the tooth slots formed.

Rotor of an electric motor, method for manufacturing a rotor and electric motor

A rotor of an electric motor includes a rotor package with a plurality of radially directed rotor teeth and a commutator with a number of commutator bars which is twice as large as the number of rotor teeth. Diametrically opposed commutator bars are respectively connected to a contact bridge. A rotor winding includes a plurality of coils wound on the rotor teeth. Each coil has first and second coil ends and the first and second coil ends of each coil are connected directly to commutator bars that are not adjacent to each other. A method for manufacturing a rotor and an electric motor, are also provided.
