AIR GAP MAGNETIC COUPLING WITH COUNTERBALANCED FORCE
A magnetic coupling assembly includes a first balancing magnet positioned and surrounding drive magnets and, across a gap, a second balancing magnet and surrounding driven magnets. The drive magnets when rotated drive the driven magnets to rotate. The balancing magnets generate a repulsive force, which counterbalances an attractive force generated by the drive magnets and driven magnets. The assembly may be utilized in a pump for contactless coupling of a motor shaft to a pump shaft. The driven side of the assembly may be hermetically sealed, such as with a liquid crystal polymer boundary interposed in the gap.
Eddy current decelerating apparatus
A decelerating apparatus includes a brake member, primary and secondary permanent magnets and pole pieces. The primary permanent magnets are arranged in a circumferential direction to face an inner or outer peripheral surface of the brake member with a gap in between. Each of the primary permanent magnets has two opposite magnetic poles arranged in a radial direction. The secondary permanent magnets and the pole pieces are placed in the gap and arranged in the circumferential direction. Each of the secondary permanent magnets has two opposite magnetic poles arranged in the circumferential direction. Each of the pole pieces is positioned between adjacent secondary permanent magnets. Magnetic pole arrangements of adjacent primary permanent magnets are opposite to each other. Magnetic pole arrangements of adjacent secondary permanent magnets are opposite to each other. Each of the secondary permanent magnets has a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape including an upper base and a lower base.
Compact centrifugal pump with magnetically suspended impeller
A centrifugal fluid pump with a fully magnetically suspended rotor to improve blood compatibility when pumping blood is disclosed. The pump stabilizes radial displacements of a disc-like rotor with active control through separate electric motor and magnetic bearings to improve the pump's critical performances including device packaging size, system simplicity and reliability, stiffness and other dynamic performances of suspension, power efficiency, and others.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLEAN MAGNETIC POWER GENERATION USING PERMANENT MAGNETS AND ELECTRO MAGNETS
In some embodiments, the present invention may include, for example, systems, devices, and methods for power generation using a permanent magnet and/or an electro magnet installed on a twisted band wheel or wheels and/or installed on stationary discs and plates. Due to magnetic field forces for example between the stationary discs and the twisted band, the twisted band may be driven to move (e.g., rotate), rotation of the twisted band is optionally transferred by an axle to a generator.
Current-shaping circuit for use with magnetic couplers downhole
A power generation device is provided. The power generation device can include a magnetic coupler. The magnetic coupler can be associated with a maximum torque output. The maximum torque output of the magnetic coupler can be based on a size of the magnetic coupler. The power generation device can also include an alternator coupled to the magnetic coupling device. The alternator can convert kinetic energy received from the magnetic coupling device into a current. The kinetic energy can be generated by the magnetic coupler using a rotational force transferred across the magnetic coupling device. The power generation device can also include a power converter device coupled to the alternator to shape the current from the alternator such that the maximum torque output is sufficient to cause the power converter to output a threshold current sufficient for operating a well tool powered using the power generation device.
Magnetic spinner device with off center motor and spaced apart magnets
A magnetic spinner device using an impeller system to disperse heat and stir contents there-above is disclosed herein. A motor turning the impeller is offset from a center line extending vertically through the device. The impeller, however, is centered with fan blades pushing air downwards as heat rises from a heat source placed there-below, such as between legs which support the impeller and bowl of the device, the bowl being used to hold a flask and/or substances to be heated. In this manner, the electric parts (the motor) and spared the brunt of the heat by being off-center while the heat rises upwards. The simplification of parts leaves less points of potential failure compared to the prior art as does the movement of electric parts away from being above a heat source.
Equipment for the control and dosage of chemical products for agricultural soil disinfection machines
Chemical product control and metering equipment for agricultural land disinfection machines with at least two receptacles for containing chemical products and an injector for injecting the products on agricultural land, comprising includes a product metering frame, a control panel of the metering frame, wirelessly connected thereto, and an electronic control card. The metering frame includes a chemical product inlet duct, an electrovalve, and a dose control flowmeter connected to the inlet ducts and to a hydraulic pump, which has at least one product outlet duct. The electronic control card is arranged inside the metering frame and is connected to a motor, the dose control flowmeter, and the electrovalves.
