Motor Control Device

A load control device may control power delivered from a power source, such as an alternating-current (AC) power source, to at least two electrical loads, such as a lighting load and a motor load. The load control device may include multiple load control circuit, such as a dimmer circuit and a motor drive circuit, for controlling the power delivered to the lighting load and the motor load, respectively. The load control device may adjust the rotational speed of the motor load in a manner so as to minimize acoustic noise generated by the load control device and reduce the amount of time required to adjust the rotational speed of the motor load. The load control device may remain powered when one of the electrical loads (e.g., the lighting load) has been removed (e.g., electrically disconnected or uninstalled) and/or has failed in an open state (has burnt out or blown out).

Matrix power conversion device and control method thereof

A matrix power conversion device including a plurality of three-phase switching modules and a controller is provided. Each three-phase switching module includes a plurality of bidirectional switches connected to the input phase voltages of the three-phase input power respectively and outputs a corresponding output phase voltage of the three-phase output power. The controller determines a maximum voltage, an intermediate voltage and a minimum voltage among all the input phase voltages to acquire a waveform of a control carrier wave in a switching cycle. The controller acquires output expected values corresponding to all output phase voltages and compares them with the waveform of the control carrier wave for acquiring a turning-on time of each of the plurality of bidirectional switches. Accordingly, the controller controls the matrix power conversion device to switch the three-phase input power so as to change the three-phase output power for driving the motor.

An actual rotation speed of the asynchronous motor is detected according to the given rotation speed thereof. A given voltage of the asynchronous motor is obtained according to a vector control algorithm and a PI-IP control algorithm and is used as a reference output voltage of the BBMC. A duty cycle of a power switch tube in the BBMC is obtained according to a finite-time control algorithm by taking capacitor voltages and inductor currents in the BBMC as control variables of the speed regulation system. The conducting time of the power switch tube in the BBMC is controlled according to the duty cycle and an output control signal of a corresponding switching cycle, so that an output voltage consistent with its reference output voltage is obtained at an output end of the BBMC, so that the actual rotation speed of the asynchronous motor accurately tracks the given speed.
