The present invention is comprised in the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacturing of medical supplies, particularly focusing on containers for the artificial feeding of enteral feeding products through a tube. In particular, the present invention relates to a closure cap for a container for supplying enteral feeding products by means of the drive of a drive head, and it also relates to a drive head that can be coupled to the cap for driving the supply of enteral feeding products contained in a container, and in turn to a drive system formed by said cap and drive head.

ORAL ADMINISTRATION COUPLER FOR BACK-OF-MOUTH DELIVERY

An improved oral administration coupler for delivery of fluids such as medications and nutritional fluids. Example oral administration couplers have a first end with an applicator for oral delivery to an infant, and a second end with a coupling compatible with an enteral fluid delivery syringe. A fluid delivery conduit extends in fluid communication from the first end to the second end, to deliver fluid from the syringe to the infant. In some example embodiments, the coupler is configured for back-of-mouth delivery, and can comprise a generally elongate and at least partially flexible tube or straw.

Enteral feeding pump certification

A method of performing a certification on an enteral feeding pump based on at least one operating parameter of the pump includes communicating certification information between the pump and a certification application remote from the pump. The at least one operating parameter is compared to a specified operating metric to verify that the at least one operating parameter of the pump is within the specified operating metric.

DOSING CONTROL COUPLING FOR ENTERAL FLUID TRANSFER AND ENTERAL COUPLINGS AND SYRINGES

An enteral dosing control coupling comprising a cylindrical collar defining a hollow internal chamber and a lumen extension tip projecting axially into the internal chamber, the lumen extension tip defining an internal lumen extending therethrough. In example forms, the lumen extension tip is integrally formed with the cylindrical collar. In other example forms, the lumen extension tip is a separate piece and is removably engageable within the cylindrical collar. In some example forms, the present invention relates to syringes, connectors, couplings, etc. having ISO 80369-3 formatted couplings. In other example forms, the present invention relates to connectors, couplings, etc. for adapting coupling formats other than the ISO 80369-3 coupling format to the ISO 80369-3 coupling format.

Connectors for infusion pump feeding sets

Improved feeding set connectors and cassettes are disclosed for use with peristaltic infusion pumps for safely delivering enteral nutritional fluids to a patient. The connectors provide an easy to use pump-to-set integration or keying system for specific reusable infusion pumps and their matching feeding sets, and can be utilized by medical professionals having various skill levels. The inventive feeding set cassettes can prevent accidental free flow of enteral fluids into a patient, even upon inadvertent release of the connector from the pumping mechanism.

Lockable adapter assembly

An enteral adapter assembly for connecting an enteral fluid source to an enteral feed tube, the enteral adapter assembly comprising: an adapter including: a proximal end comprising a first connection portion for attaching to a fluid outlet provided on the enteral fluid source, and a distal end comprising a first threaded connection portion for screwing to an end of the enteral feed tube. A fluid conduit extends between the proximal and distal ends. The assembly comprises a removable cap having a second threaded connection portion configured for screwing the cap onto the first threaded connection portion, wherein the proximal end of the adapter comprises a locking member configured to irreversibly mate with a corresponding feature provided on the fluid outlet as the adapter is attached to the outlet to prevent removal of the adapter from the outlet when the cap is unscrewed from the distal end of the adapter.

LARGE BORE ENTERAL CONNECTOR

An enteral feeding connector, coupling or syringe tip configured for compatibility with blenderized feeding applications. The connector, coupling or syringe tip has a minimum internal bore dimension greater than the standard ENFit coupling specifications, to provide improved delivery of blenderized food.

Docking station for an enteral feeding pump

Described herein are concepts, systems, circuits and techniques for a docking station configured to couple to an enteral feeding pump or other medical device. In one embodiment, the docking station includes a wireless transmitter for communicating data, such as operating parameters and/or status, to a remote monitor over a wireless communication link, to permit remote monitoring of certain pump diagnostics. In some embodiments, the docking station may utilize the wireless communication link to permit control and/or data exchange with the feeding pump. This may be in addition to or in place of the remote monitoring. The pump may also contain a receiver for receiving data such as operating parameter instructions, general operating instructions, and/or commands.

SUCTION ADAPTOR FOR HIGHLY VISCOUS ENTERAL NUTRIENT

[Problem] To provide an economic suction adaptor that is capable of suctioning a highly viscous enteral nutrient to a gastric fistula catheter syringe without the intake of air.

[Solution] The number of people having meals of highly viscous enteral nutrients such as blended diets through a gastric fistula catheter is increasing among pediatric patients who need long-term intubation nutrients, and among elderly people who have trouble with oral intake. Suctioning a blended diet on a dish with a syringe alone is undesirable because air is introduced. The suction adaptor of the present invention is used by being connected to the syringe, wherein a suction tube having, on an upper portion thereof, a connection part connected to a nozzle of the syringe is formed in the middle of a bowl-shaped suction pad which is an elastic body.
