INSOLE AND FOOTBED FOR GOLF SHOES THAT IMPROVES BALANCE, POSTURE AND STABILITY TO ENHANCE THE GOLF SWING
Disclosed herein is an insole or footbed for a shoe. The insole includes a forefoot portion having a first thickness at a latitudinal midpoint thereof, a midfoot portion attached to the forefoot portion, and a hindfoot portion attached to the midfoot portion. An energy plug is attached to the midfoot portion and hindfoot portion and covering lateral portions thereof. The hindfoot portion has a second thickness at a latitudinal midpoint thereof, the second thickness being less than a first thickness. The hindfoot portion includes a support stabilizer at an outside lateral portion thereof.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR
An article of footwear can include provisions for facilitating the installation of various components such as a lighting apparatus. During manufacture of the article of footwear, the upper and/or sole structure can include a chamber designed to receive the lighting apparatus. The lighting apparatus can be installed in the chamber after manufacture of the article of footwear. In some cases, the lighting apparatus can include provisions for facilitating the installation of the lighting apparatus in the chamber, including a removable handle portion that can help guide the lighting apparatus within the chamber.
Golf shoe with natural motion structures
Golf shoes include one or more of the following: (a) a foot stabilizer system that interacts with a shoe securing system to securely engage and/or wrap around a foot of a wearer; (b) a natural motion sole, optionally including flex grooves that allow a weight transfer from back-to-front and/or from side-to-side; (c) a six cleat configuration (e.g., four cleats in a forefoot region, two cleats in a heel region, and no cleats located directly under a big toe); (d) a forefoot moderator plate positioned to moderate or reduce user feel of the forefoot cleats; (e) a lateral half heel counter extending from a rear heel area to a lateral midfoot or lateral forward heel area of the shoe; and/or (f) one or more medial, forefoot, sidewall traction elements at or near a big toe area of the sole.

Sole for a golf shoe
An outer sole for a golf shoe includes a plurality of cleats distributed along a forefoot area and a heel area. The cleats are integrated with the outer sole and extend from a surface of the outer sole that faces away from the shoe. The plurality of cleats includes at least a larger sized set of cleats and a smaller sized set of cleats. Such outer sole for a golf shoe gives good traction on the golf course but is also useable as a casual shoe off the golf course.
Sole structure with integrated cleat member and methods of making
A sole structure with an integrated cleat member includes a plate member with a protruding portion that forms a first portion of the cleat member. A second portion of the cleat member is attached to the first portion and may be made of a less rigid material than the first portion. A supporting structure can be disposed inside the protruding portion. A method of forming the sole structure can include reshaping a portion of a plate member to form a protruding portion, molding a cleat tip portion onto the protruding portion and molding a supporting structure into a concave inner portion of the protruding portion.
Interchangeable chassis for cleated footwear
An article of footwear including cleat sets and/or cleat members can include provisions for maximizing traction between a chassis and multiple types of ground surfaces. In some embodiments, a chassis can include cleat sets and/or cleat members disposed in different locations to achieve maximum traction on multiple types of surfaces. In other embodiments, a chassis can include distinct types of cleat sets and/or cleat members that each maximize traction for a distinct type of surface. Each chassis includes a distinct type of cleat configuration. Different cleat configurations may be used to provide varying degrees of traction. In some embodiments, the chassis can include varying levels of flexibility, to provide user with options to customize the stiffness and support of the article of footwear.

A sole of a shoe includes: a rear portion; and a forward portion connected with the rear portion, the forward portion being thinner than the rear portion, the forward portion comprising a plurality of ribs that are patterned and contoured to provide different height, rigidity and flexibility characteristics at different areas of the forward portion.

GOLF SHOE HAVING OUTSOLE WITH ALL-SURFACE TRACTION ZONES
Golf shoes having improved outsole constructions are provided. The golf shoes include upper, midsole, and outsole sections. The outsole includes a first set of arc pathways extending along the outsole in one direction. A second set of arc pathways extend along the outsole in a second direction. When the first and second arc pathways are superposed over each other, four-sided tile pieces are formed, and these tiles contain protruding traction members. Different traction zones containing different traction members are provided on the outsole. These zones provide improved all surface traction and there is no channeling and no trenching of the golf course turf. There is less damage to the golf course for a given amount of traction.
