Portable apparatus for decontamination of a breast
A portable device for the decontamination of a breast. The aim of the device is to reduce the risk of mastitis, even when the patient has a medicament incompatibility. For this purpose, the invention includes a decontamination unit which decontaminates the breast at least by means of a physical method.
Decontamination Device for Inhaled and Exhaled Ventilator Gases
The invention discloses a decontamination device for decontaminating inhaled and/or exhaled gases in a ventilator. The decontamination device comprises a gas inlet and outlet for inspiratory and expiratory gas flow, and a chamber for gas flow. The chamber is configured to connect the gas inlet and outlet. The chamber comprises at least one ultraviolet (UV) light source integrate inside the chamber that preferably emits in the UVC range, wherein the UV light source is preferably a UVC light-emitting diode. The UV light source is configured to produce UV light to decontaminate contaminants in the inhaled and/or exhaled gases by minimizing the distance between the contaminants in the gas flow and the light source, maintaining the gas flow in a gas flow path long enough to deactivate the contaminants, increasing the intensity of the light source to optimize decontamination, and increasing turbulence to redirect the gas flow and prevent boundary layers and shadowing.
Patient airway dome and methods of making and using same
A patient airway dome including an adjustable frame having a hinge such that the hinge allows the frame to adjust between an erected position to create an airway dome and a collapsed position that allows the frame to lay flat, a dome covering located over the retractable frame, a suction port which is connected to a conventional device in order to provide negative pressure to patient airway dome, and an arm access assembly operatively connected to the dome covering, wherein the arm access assembly includes an opening in the dome covering and a closure assembly located adjacent to the opening.
Therapeutic endotracheal system
A therapeutic intubation device may comprise a tube, a first probe channel, a second probe channel, a first probe and a second probe. In various embodiments, a tube may have an elongate body having a proximal end and a distal end. The body may define a first channel between the proximal end and the distal end. A first probe channel may be defined in the body. A second probe channel defined in the body. A first probe may comprise a first body portion and a first end portion, the first end portion comprising a first ultraviolet-c (“UVC”) light emitting device. The first probe may be installable the first probe channel such that the first end portion of the first probe is adjacent the distal end of the tub during operation.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DISINFECTING AIR CONTAINING VIRUSES, BACTERIA, OR OTHER CONTAMINANTS
An apparatus used to disinfect viruses/bacteria contaminated exhaust air from devices, such as ventilators, CPAP, APAP, VPAP auto, BiPAO, ECMO, and also devices for air filtration used in cars, buildings, ships, planes, etc. is disclosed in this document. A heat source is used to burn the contaminated air at elevated temperatures, such as 100° C., 500° C., 1,000° C., and/or even more, in a confined environment to inactivate/destroy viruses/bacteria carried in the air. The heat sources can be, but not limited to, electrical, gases, infrared, microwave, and Ultraviolet (UV). After disinfection, the exhaust air from the apparatus is then released to the ambient environment, or to the next chamber for further treatment.
System for its use to treat Leukemia
A system to be used to treat Leukemia, comprises a device to power, control and monitor an ultraviolet radiation as well as to monitor a blood contactless conductivity; and a catheter assembly with an inner dialysis catheter, an ultraviolet radiation source and a differential coil sensor. The system is using wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation to destroy infectious microbes that are in the blood and that are inside circulating tumor cells directly and indirectly as well as to destroy infectious microbes at primary tumor location (bone marrow). This is done without withdrawing the blood out of the body. Furthermore, the system measures a blood conductivity to evaluate the treatment process in a real time during the operation.
MASK WITH ONE OR MORE SELF-SEALING PORTS AND SURGICAL KITS AND SYSTEMS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH
A patient mask including a body shaped to be placed over a face of a patient and configured to prevent the passage of viruses and/or particles therethrough and at least one port configured to receive an endoscope, a surgical instrument, or both and to conform to the shape of the surgical instrument such that the port prevents the passage of viruses and/or particles therethrough.
CPAP MASK WITH SIDE PORTS FOR PROVIDING CONTINUOUS POSITIVELY PRESSURIZED AIR TO A PATIENT WITH RESPIRATORY DISTRESS AND OTHER RESPIRATORY MEDICAL CONDITIONS
The present disclosure provides a CPAP mask with side ports for providing continuous positively pressurized air to a patient. The CPAP mask includes a mask body, a plurality of strap holders, and a cushion seal. The mask body includes a left side wall, a left port, a front face, a right side wall, and a right port. In addition, the left side wall has a first through-hole. Further, the left port is on the left side wall. Furthermore, the front face of the CPAP mask is a transparent member. Moreover, the right side wall has a second through-hole. Also, the right port is on the right side wall. Also, the plurality of strap holders is on the left side wall and the right side wall.
Water electrolysis device
A water electrolysis device for generating hydrogen gas includes a case, a power supplying unit, and an ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer. The case has a containing space including a bottom space and a top space. The bottom space is larger than the top space. The power supplying unit is configured in the bottom space for supplying power to operate the water electrolysis device. The ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer includes an ion-exchange membrane and a cathode, and the cathode generates hydrogen gas during which the ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer electrolyzes water.
Ultraviolet light treatment chamber
An apparatus for the treatment of a liquid that includes a chamber having at least one inner surface, the chamber adapted for passage of a fluid therethrough. The chamber is at least 80 percent enclosed. The apparatus also includes an optional ultraviolet-transmissive tube disposed within the chamber and also adapted for the passage of the liquid therethrough.
