AUTONOMOUS DIALYSIS CONTROL
The invention relates to a system for dialysis, comprising a housing comprising a flow path along which dialysate passes between a subject and a dialysate reservoir; a pump arranged to drive dialysate along the flow path; a sensing system arranged in the housing configured to sense one or more characteristics of the dialysate to produce an output; and a processor configured to observe said output to determine whether to switch on or off the pump such as based on pressure of the dialysate is above a predetermined value or a flow rate of the dialysate determined by the sensing system is zero. In a preferred embodiment, the one or more characteristics comprise at least one of turbidity, pressure and colour of the dialysate and the sensing system includes an optical sensor, a turbidity sensor and a pressure sensor.

To provide a mask capable of reducing a load of a patient while suppressing lowering of accuracy at which a subject's exhaled air is measured. A mask to be put on a subject's face includes a mask body portion demarcating an internal space in a state of covering part of the subject's face and a cup-shaped nasal cup covering a subject's nose in a state of being arranged inside the internal space, in which the nasal cup includes a first wall portion covering the subject's nose, a second wall portion arranged under the subject's nostrils, and an exhaled air discharge portion guiding an exhaled air from the subject's nose to an exhaled air sensor, and at least part of the exhaled air from the subject's nose is guided toward the exhaled air discharge portion by the second guide portion in a state where the nasal cup covers the subject's nose.

A wearable device has a flexible and extendable body configured to encircle a portion of a body of a user, an electronics module with a concave space between two ends, each end attachable to the flexible and extendable body with a flexible retention mount to allow rotation of the flexible and extendable body relative to the electronics module and to transfer tension force from the flexible and extendable body to the electronics module, and a bio-signal sensor disposed on the flexible and extendable body to contact at least part of the body of the user and to receive bio-signals from the user.

An intubation system includes a measurement apparatus that measures physiological parameter of a subject by a measuring section, an intubation apparatus that includes an imaging section placed in a vicinity of a tip end portion of an inserting section to be inserted from a mouth of the subject toward a target site, an intubation displaying section that is disposed integrally with or separately from the intubation apparatus and is connected to the imaging section and the measuring section to display an in vivo image that is taken by the imaging section along with the physiological parameter that is measured by the measuring section, and an overall storage section that stores the in vivo image and physiological parameter that are displayed on the intubation displaying section, in an associated manner.
