Reception of a signal from the detection unit (44) triggers processing of signals from the accelerometer (42) by the electronic processing unit (46) in order to generate inhalation data.

Aspects of the present disclosure disclose a system for delivering a medication. In one aspect, the disclosure is directed to a medical dispensing device that includes a label with a series of zones of varying widths, with each of the zones corresponding to a pre-determined volumetric dose of a drug that is correlated to a physical characteristic of a patient. In one specific example, the label is further affixed to the medical dispensing device such that a smallest dose of the drug to be administered corresponds to a first zone that is proximate an opening through which the drug is to be dispensed.

The invention relates to infusate containers and related systems and methods for housing infusates that can be added to a fluid flow path for use during dialysis. The infusate containers can include a filter partitioning the containers into a first and second compartment, a draw tube for drawing up fluid from a bottom portion, a cap, a fluid connector for delivery and withdrawal of fluid from the two compartments, and a fluid connector for connection to a dialysis system.

Scent infused nasal cannulas, scent infused nasal cannula assemblies, methods of providing scents to subjects, and methods of fabricating scent infused nasal cannulas. The scent infused nasal cannulas and scent infused nasal cannula assemblies include a tubular body, a pair of narine projections, and fluid supply tubes. The tubular body and the pair of narine projections are formed from a scent infused polymer. The methods of providing scents to subjects include attaching a scent infused nasal cannula to a subject and delivering a fluid from a fluid source to the subject during the emission period of the scent infused polymer such that the scent is detectable therefrom. The methods of fabricating scent infused nasal cannulas include providing a scent infused nose piece and attaching fluid supply tubes to the nose piece and to a fluid source.

This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods related to a connector for a dressing, such as a dressing of a hyperbaric oxygen therapy system. An example of a connector includes a connector body configured to define at least a portion of a first channel. The connector also includes a viewing member coupled to the connector body. The connector further includes a deformable member positioned within the first channel. The deformable member is configured to deform based on a pressure associated with the deformable member and to provide a visual indication, via the viewing member, of the pressure.

DOSE DELIVERY DEVICE FOR INHALATION
Methods and devices for delivering a dose, such as a medicament, for inhalation. A dose may be stored by a delivery device and dispersed and delivered in a metered fashion to a subject, such as by the subject inhaling via a mouthpiece of the delivery device. One or more chambers of the device may have a toroidal shape and may be arranged to be selectively opened for fluid communication with a flow path of the delivery device, such as by sliding the chamber relative to a portion of the flow path. The flow path may include a restriction that permits air to bypass the chamber, and/or the chamber may be arranged so that fluid entering the chamber interacts with fluid exiting the chamber so as to enhance dispersion of the dose.
Vaporizer
An electronic cigarette or vaporizer may include a shell and a cartomizer receivable within a chamber within a portion of the shell. A basin may be included in the cartomizer to hold a vaporizable fluid, dry substance, or other vaporizable substance such as a wax. A heating element may be provided within the basin which may have a flexible non-conductive material and a flexible conductive material.
