Sound effect adjusting apparatus, method, and program
An information processing apparatus includes a processor that controls display of a graphic including a single shape, where the single shape corresponds to a plurality of content output characteristic adjusting parameters. The processor also modifies the single shape included in the graphic displayed on the display based on input information, and adjusts at least one content output characteristic adjusting parameter of reproduced content based on the input information.
Method for sound effect compensation, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, and terminal device
A method and an apparatus for sound effect compensation, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, and a terminal device are provided. The method includes the following. An acoustic transmission function of an audio processing device in an ear canal of a user is determined according to an audio signal currently output from the audio processing device. Compensate for the audio signal according to the acoustic transmission function.
Display System Having An Audio Output Device
A display system includes a head-mounted display unit and a detachable speaker unit. The head-mounted display unit outputs visual content to a user and provides a visual pass-through of a real environment to the user. The detachable speaker unit is detachably coupleable to the head-mounted display unit for providing aural content to the user. At least one of the visual content or the aural content is changed according to a position of the detachable speaker unit relative to the head-mounted display unit.
Amplifier assembly and method of amplification particularly for portable device
A sound system includes a sound source having an analogue audio signal output and a sound volume control; signal amplifier apparatus (10) comprising an analogue signal input (12) configured to be coupled to the analogue audio signal output of the sound source, an analogue signal output (18) and an amplifier module (62) coupled between the signal input and the signal output. The amplifier module (62) has a fixed amplification gain within a range of 10 to 12 decibels. Control of the audio signal is effected solely by the sound volume control of the sound source. The amplifier module (64) also provides a fixed gain bass boost of 6 decibels. The system provides linear amplification and allows a user to reduce the volume of the sound source, which significantly reduces signal distortion. Volume control is at the sound source and not at the amplifier module, which optimises amplification quality and reduces the power requirement of the amplifier apparatus (10).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADAPTION OF A TELEPHONIC AUDIO SIGNAL
Systems and methods for adaption of telephonic signal are provided. A telephonic listener's demographic information is first received. Next, a set of preset parameters are retrieved from a database based on the demographic information. The preset parameters are calculated using suprathreshold and/or threshold hearing data, which is representative of a demographic group. These preset parameters are then outputted to a sound personalization digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm. A voice signal is then processed using the sound personalization DSP and the processed voice signal is then outputted at the listener's telephonic device.
Novel Preamplifier Circuit Configuration
An audio preamplifier includes a first stage including a first triode of a first vacuum tube in a common cathode configuration configured to perform a first gain function favoring one of low frequencies and mid-range frequencies in response to user input; a second stage including a second triode of the first vacuum tube in a common cathode configuration configured to perform a second gain function favoring one of low frequencies and mid-range frequencies in response to user input; a third stage including a first triode of a second vacuum tube in a common cathode configuration configured to perform a tone-shaping function favoring one of low frequencies and mid-range frequencies in response to user input; and a fourth stage including a second triode of the second vacuum tube in a follower configuration configured to perform a tone stack function in response to user input.
Smart Audio Settings
Embodiments described herein provide for smart configuration of audio settings for a playback device. According to an embodiment, while a playback device is a part of a first zone group that includes the playback device and at least one first playback device, the playback device applies a first audio setting. The embodiment also includes the playback device joining a second zone group that includes the playback device and at least one second playback device. The embodiment further includes the playback device applying a second audio setting based on an audio content profile corresponding to the second zone group.
Parameter control device and storage medium
When controlling values of a plurality of parameters in a predetermined device according to an operation by a user, values of parameters to be controlled are displayed in an array along an item axis on a parameter editing screen, an operation by the user to the parameter editing screen is detected, and when an operation to trace the screen in a direction of the item axis from a certain position is detected, a sequential control is performed, sequentially according to progress of the operation, to temporarily change to a specific value a value of each parameter corresponding to a position in the item axis direction where the trace operation is being performed.
Speaker device with equalization control
A speaker device with equalization (EQ) control is provided, wherein the speaker device may be a pair of earbuds/earphones or a headset having a pair of headphones, comprising: an audio receiving port for receiving audio signals from an audio source, a circuitry comprising at least a processor and a memory, the processor being configured to execute one or more firmware or software programs to perform tasks for processing the audio signals, including equalization of the audio signals according to one of multiple EQ settings stored in the memory, a user input terminal for detecting a user input to select one of the EQ settings; and a pair of speaker drivers for emitting sound corresponding to the processed audio signals.
AMBIENT SOUND ACTIVATED DEVICE
In device having at least one microphone and one or more speakers, environmental sound may be recorded using the microphone, classified and mixed with source media sound to produce a mixed sound depending on the classification. The mixed sound may then be played over the one or more speakers.
