A speaker driving device including a setting part configured to set at least one parameter stipulating an equivalent circuit of a first speaker unit as a first parameter, a first calculator configured to change a first frequency response based on the first parameter, the changed first frequency response being applied to an input signal, the first calculator configured to perform amplitude control on a signal obtained with the changed first frequency response to output a first calculation signal, and a driving signal generator configured to generate a drive signal for driving a speaker unit based on the first calculation signal.
MODULAR MUSICAL INSTRUMENT APPLIFICATION SYSTEM WITH SELECTABLE INPUT GAIN STAGE RESPONSE BEHAVIOR
An exemplary modular musical instrument amplification system may comprise a chassis including a power supply, an input gain stage, a control processor and a plurality of modular slots. The modular slots are configured to receive any of a plurality of preamplifier modules for establishing an electrical communication therewith. The input gain stage has a modifiable response behavior and is in signal amplifying communication between at least one instrument input jack and the modular slots. The control processor is preferably in control communication between the modular slots and the input gain stage. Each preamplifier module has a respective input stage profile associated therewith. The control processor may be configured for sensing the input stage profile of a preamplifier module received in an active modular slot, and setting the response behavior based, at least in part, upon the respective input stage profile.
Last mile equalization
An audio playback system performs a method including identifying a first type of audio included in a first audio stream, tagging the first audio stream with a first digital tag corresponding to the first type of audio, identifying a second type of audio included in a second audio stream, tagging the second audio stream with a second digital tag corresponding to the second type of audio, rendering the first audio stream with a first equalization profile applied thereto, the first equalization profile selected responsive to the audio playback system detecting the first digital tag in the first audio stream, and rendering the second audio stream with a second equalization profile different than the first equalization profile applied thereto, the second equalization profile selected responsive to the audio playback system detecting the second digital tag in the second audio stream.
AUDIO PREFERENCES FOR MEDIA CONTENT PLAYERS
Disclosed herein are system, method, and tangible computer readable medium for creating a desired audio effect for a user. The method includes operations including: causing a plurality of speakers to play test signals, each test signal being specific to one of the speakers; receiving from a remote device recorded frequency responses of the speakers resulting from the playing of the test signals; creating one or more filters to match an audio profile selected by a user; applying the filters to the recorded frequency responses to obtain filtered transformations of the speakers; and transmitting the filtered transformations to the speakers; wherein the filtered transformations are applied at the speakers to thereby achieve the user audio profile.
AUDIO PLAYING SYSTEM
An audio playing system has a first channel output device, a first equalizer, and a controller. The first equalizer is configured to adjust a received first channel audio signal with a set of first parameters of frequency response and output the adjusted first channel audio signal to the first channel output device in a first mode, and to adjust the received first channel audio signal with the a of second parameters of frequency response and output the adjusted first channel audio signal to the first channel output device in a second mode. In a test mode, the controller is configured to send a set of test audio signals to the first channel output device and to adjust the set of first parameters of frequency response and the set of second parameters of frequency response based on a plurality of pieces of received first confirmation signal.
Powered speaker system and method
A powered speaker system comprising a cabinet and an input to receive an audio signal from an external amplifier. An audio splitter receives and splits the audio signal into first and second portions. At least one first speaker driver receives the first portion of the split audio signal, and an effects output jack receives the second portion. An effects input jack that is connectable to the external effects device, receives the second portion of signal that is modified by the external effects device. An internal amplifier is coupled to the effects input jack and receives and amplifies the modified second portion of the signal. At least one second speaker driver receives from the internal amplifier, the amplified modified second portion. The first speaker driver outputs the first portion simultaneously while the second speaker driver outputs the amplified modified second portion of the split audio signal.
Electronic apparatus and control method thereof
An electronic apparatus and a method for controlling the electronic apparatus are provided. The electronic apparatus includes an audio processor that outputs an audio including a first audio component and a second audio component and a controller that controls the audio processor to change a ratio of the first audio component to the second audio component according to the changed audio level, in response to receiving an instruction to change a level of the output audio.
