PASSIVE SUB-AUDIBLE ROOM PATH LEARNING WITH NOISE MODELING
20220352860 · 2022-11-03 · ·

Frequency domain compensation is provided for spectral impairment resulting from the audio path characteristics for a given audio device in a given listening space. Selected segments of an audio stream are recorded at a listener position to measure degradation in the audio path and to update compensation filter characteristics of the audio device. Recorded transmitted and received audio sequences are aligned based and compared in the frequency domain. The difference between the aligned transmitted and received sequences represents the frequency domain degradation along the acoustic path due to the speaker, the physical attributes of the room, and noise. A dynamically updated noise model is determined for adjusting compensation filter characteristics of the audio device, which can be updated during use of the audio device. A compensation curve is derived which can adapt the equalization of the audio device passively during normal usage.

20220353626 · 2022-11-03 ·

In accordance with some embodiments, systems, methods and media for automatically determining audio gain profiles for fitting personal audio output devices are provided. In some embodiments, a method for automatically determining audio gain profiles comprises: determining hearing thresholds; determining gain profiles based on the hearing thresholds generating augmented audio signals using the gain profiles; causing the augmented audio signals to be presented using a speaker of an output device; receiving a rating associated with each gain profile; determining fitness values based on the ratings; generating a new generation of gain profiles based on the fitness values, each gain profile comprising bits representing the set of gain values; augmenting the new generation of gain profiles by exchanging a string of bits from a first gain profile with a corresponding string of bits from a second gain profile; and outputting a final gain profile to the output device.

AUDIO PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE, TERMINAL, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

Implementation of the disclosure provides an audio processing method, a device, a terminal and a computer-readable storage medium. The method can include the following. An audio to-be-matched and a reference audio are obtained. A frequency spectrum distribution of the audio to-be-matched and a frequency spectrum distribution of the reference audio are obtained. A target filter set for matching the audio to-be-matched with the reference audio is determined according to the frequency spectrum distribution of the audio to-be-matched and the frequency spectrum distribution of the reference audio. The target filter set is determined as a matching rule for the audio to-be-matched and the reference audio. An audio playing device is compensated by using the matching rule to adjust an audio playing effect of the audio playing device; and an audio is played through the compensated audio playing device.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUDIO PROCESSING
