OPTICALLY INDUCED INJECTION DEVICE
An optically induced injection device is provided. The optically induced injection device includes: an injection needle, a light generator providing light to an affected area, a first optical cable which is disposed in the injection needle and through which the light passes, and an injection unit disposed in the injection needle and providing an injection solution to the affected area while the light is provided to the affected area.
SUPRAGLOTTIC AIRWAY (SGA) WITH TELESCOPING END FOR CAMERA
The disclosed technology relates to a telescoping supraglottic airway device, such as a laryngeal mask airway. An example supraglottic airway device includes a cuff defining an orifice, a telescoping airway channel, extending in a proximal direction from the cuff, defined by first and second concentric cylinders; and a spring that biases the first and second cylinders apart to extend the telescoping airway channel.
Laryngascope free airway device
An airway device configured for intubation under blind or optionally under indirect vision of a fiber optic scope. It also configured to be used as a supraglottic airway device supporting external breathing or anesthesia circuits. The device comprises a tube system with expansion projections, a base, one or more inflation balloons, and a gastric suction tube. The device can include a stylet to guide endotracheal tube during intubation. The tube system can include an air tube and fiber-optic-probe tube. The balloon system can move the end of the tube system anteriorly to align it with the laryngeal opening. The balloon system can seal the airway leakage for low positive pressure ventilation for the device to operate as a supraglottic airway device. The inflation balloon and expansion projection can displace tissue that can block the airway path. The base can carry esophageal gastric drainage tube to the upper esophageal sphincter to block and drain gastric content regurgitation.
PORTABLE LIGHT-GUIDED INJECTION DEVICE
A portable light-guided injection device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a syringe part that injects drug; an injection needle part that invades an affected portion and injects the drug into the body; a main body part that connects the syringe part and the injection needle part to provide a drug transmitting path and has a light generating part configured to provide light to the affected portion; and an optical cable part that transmits the light provided from the light generating part to the affected portion.
PIXEL ARRAY MEDICAL SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS
A system comprising a handpiece and drive system configured to removably couple to a proximal end of a housing. A scalpet assembly is configured to removeably couple to the housing, and includes a scalpet array comprising at least one scalpet configured for rotation. The scalpet array is configured to harvest dermal plugs via fractional resection. A collection chamber is configured to collect the dermal plugs, and to house formation of an injectable filler by mincing the dermal plugs, and mixing the dermal plugs with a carrier. The injectable filler is configured for bulk fill. The collection chamber includes a loading port, and a cannular syringe is configured to mate with the loading port to receive the injectable filler, and to deliver the injectable filler for the bulk fill.
Airway devices and methods of use thereof
Airway devices and uses of such airway devices are disclosed. The airway device comprises an elongated blade having first and second longitudinal edges and proximal and distal lateral edges. The blade has a proximal region that is proximate to the proximal lateral edge, and a distal region that is proximate to the distal lateral edge. The blade may have a substantially flat configuration. In some embodiments, a pair of side components is arranged laterally spaced-apart in mirror image symmetry with respect to a central longitudinal axis of the blade. Each of the side components is arranged to project outwardly from a first face of the elongated blade at the distal region thereof. A distal plate region may be defined by a space separating the pair of side components, dimensioned for an airway or ventilation device such as an ETT to pass therethrough towards a distal tip of the blade.
AIRWAY MANAGEMENT DEVICE WITH EPIGLOTTIS HOLDING FEATURES
An airway management device (AMD) is described. Such an AMD may have a laryngeal mask, a portion of which is configured to fit against a patient at an area surrounding the patient's laryngeal inlet, and thereby cover a laryngeal inlet of the patient. Some embodiments of the AMD may include a delivery tube having interior wall surfaces defining one or more gas channels. The gas channels may be in gas-communication with the laryngeal mask.
Submucosal bioresorbable drug eluting platform
Systems and methods for delivering a therapeutic agent to target tissue using a plurality of drug delivery platforms each having a polymer scaffold and the therapeutic agent contained within the polymer scaffold. Each drug delivery platform of the plurality of drug delivery platforms is implanted into the target tissue, allowing the therapeutic agent to elute from each drug delivery platform of the plurality of drug delivery platforms for a target period of time, delivering a therapeutic dose of the therapeutic agent for the target period of time. Each drug delivery platform of the plurality of drug delivery platforms is allowed to biodegrade within the target tissue.
SUBMUCOSAL BIORESORBABLE DRUG ELUTING PLATFORM
Systems and methods for delivering a therapeutic agent to target tissue using a plurality of drug delivery platforms each having the therapeutic drug embedded as part of the drug delivery platform. Each drug delivery platform is implanted into a target tissue, and the active agent elutes out of the drug delivery platform for a target period of time, delivering a therapeutic dose of the drug for that period of time. The duration of therapy for an implant can be from 3 to 12 months, longer, or shorter.
