ADJUSTABLE BOOT BINDING APPARATUS
A binding apparatus for a snowboard is provided including a base plate having a pivot portion, an elongate arm member, and a cuff member for receiving a portion of a rider's boot or leg. The base plate may be affixed to the snowboard such that a boot may be coupled to a footbed thereof at an angle relative to the lateral axis of the snowboard. The elongate arm member is pivotably coupled to the pivot portion of the base plate at a first end portion thereof, and the cuff member is coupled to the elongate arm member. The elongate arm member is configured to pivotably rotate about an axis of rotation of the pivot portion such that the elongate arm member and cuff member coupled thereto are capable of moving fore and aft of a lateral axis of a snowboard.
Footwear for use in specialized activities
Footwear for use during a specialized activity such as skiing, cycling, skating and many other sports or industrial uses, and provides a dorsal element engaging the dorsal aspect of the foot for enabling the user to control relative to the plantar aspect the maximum height of the arch of the foot at substantially all times during the activity regardless of the position or orientation of the foot. A pivotal arm is mounted on a frame attached to the planter aspect for pivotal movement about an axis transverse to the foot and is compressed by an adjustable element operable by the user.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR FASTENING A BOOT TO A SLIDING BOARD
The fastening device (3) for fastening a boot (4) to a sliding board (2) includes a base (10) intended to be fastened to a sliding board and to surround, at least partially, a sole and lateral sides of a boot, at least one lever (201, 301) that can move relative to the base and can interact with a retention element (44A, 44B) connected to a boot, the lever (201, 301) being able to move between a first retention position (P1) and a second clamping position (P2), the lever being able to retain the boot in the base when it is in its first position, the lever being able to transmit a downward force on the retention element when it is in its second position.

Cross-country ski boot sole
Sole (20) for a sports shoe, notably for a cross-country ski boot, comprising a first component (1) acting as a framework and at least one second component (21) assembled with the first component (1), characterized in that the second component (21) comprises an anterior part (32) extending substantially longitudinally in the anterior part of the sole (20).
Sole structure with transversely movable coupler for selectable bending stiffness
A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a first plate and a second plate both extending longitudinally in a flexion region of the sole structure. The second plate is disposed above the first plate in the flexion region. The second plate has a fixed portion fixed to the first plate, and has a free portion. A coupler is operatively connected to one of the first plate and the free portion of the second plate. The coupler is selectably movable transversely relative to the first plate and the second plate between a first position and a second position. The coupler is spaced apart from the other one of the first plate and the free portion of the second plate in the first position, and operatively engages the other one of the first plate and the free portion of the second plate in the second position.
FOOTWEAR WARMING SYSTEM AND DEVICE

LACING SYSTEM FOR SKI BOOTS
An exemplary ski boot as described herein includes an outer shell, at least one guide member, a tensioning mechanism, and a tension member that is operably coupled with the tensioning mechanism so that an operation of the tensioning mechanism adjusts a tension of the tension member. The tensioning mechanism and the at least one guide member are coupled with the outer shell and the at least one guide member is operably coupled with the tension member to route or direct the tension member along a lace path about the ski boot's outer shell. The lace path includes an upper end, a lower end, and a midpoint positioned between the upper end and lower end. The tensioning mechanism is positioned near the midpoint of the lace path.
