Electret implant for treatment of arthrosis

The invention relates to electret implant and to electrotherapy using static electricity of electret coatings for treatment of arthrosis of different joints: knee, hip, and shoulder, including for the arthrosis treatment of small bones of arms and legs. The inventive electret implant includes an extended body with a proximal and a distal end. On surface of the body a dielectric coating in an electret state is formed. The implant, wherein its body is implemented as a rod, at the proximal end of which a frontal surface is formed, and the fixation device of the implant in the hole in the bone can be made at the distal end. The bushing, wherein on its outer surface a thread for its set is made in the hole in the bone, and on its inner surface a thread for fixation of the electret implant in the hole is made.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING TUMORS USING TARGETED NEUROSTIMULATION

A method for treating diagnosed or suspected tumors of a subject, comprising obtaining a target map that identifies an actual or likely location of the tumor in the subject, and providing multifocal non-invasive electrical stimulation with a duration, spatiotemporal pattern, current intensity, electrode montage, and/or regimen sufficient to do one or more of the following: (1) reduce the size of one or more tumor(s), (2) alter its/their perfusion, (3) change its/their metabolic or electrical activity, (4) change its/their functional connectivity profile, (5) slow down or stop its/their progression/spread and related symptomatology, (6) characterize one or more tumor(s) based on its/their response to noninvasive brain stimulation; possibly in conjunction with optimized anatomical changes applied to the skin or skull to better steer currents and fields into the tumor.

Apparatus and Method for Treating Cancer Cells and Bacteria in Mammals Including Humans

Bacteria, cancer cells, fungus and other harmful cells located beneath the surface of a mammal body can be effectively destroyed by passing an electrical current through the area to be treated. Electrodes are positioned on either side of the area to be treated, for example, gums, fingers, arms, legs, feet and torso, and an electric current is caused to flow between the electrodes and through the area to be treated. The electric current will destroy the bacteria, cancer cells, fungus or other harmful cells.

The present invention discloses a wireless and self-contained earbud device that delivers an electronic signal to a precise and self-locating position within bilateral conchae in both ears of a human user. The earbud device comprises an earpiece housing and an electronics housing including a waveform source for generating a constant electronic signal. The electronics housing is included inside the earpiece housing and communicates wirelessly with one or more devices of a user. The constant electronic signal is transmitted from the electronics housing and is communicated to a precise and self-locating position within bilateral conchae in each ear of the user who is wearing the therapeutic earbud device for treating heroin addiction. The earbud device is made of a foam-like material that is self-fitting in the user's ear regardless of shape or size.

Non-Invasive Convergent Heating Treatment

The invention relates to medical therapy of detrimental lesions. A system treats with non-invasive arrays of non-ionizing energy-radiation sources. The external sources focus energy dose distribution to a selected volume in a body. Energy output is directed towards a pathologic location and quenched around other sites or healthy tissue. Beam aiming is done without source movement. Targeted, volumetrically discrete energy deposition can beneficially manipulate lesions within the body. The purpose of the focused and enhanced energy deposition is to repair or disable pathologic physiology or structures, nerve pathways, extracellular fluid, and misfolded proteins. Locally augmented energy is used to enhance immunity, release pharmaceutical compounds from energy-sensitive vesicles and reconfigure or eliminate misfolded proteins and their aggregates. Targeted tissue may have enhanced sensitivity to received energy via a non-ionizing-radiation, treatment-localizing agent. This system optimizes delivery of non-ionizing, non-ablating electromagnetic or mechanical energy, degrading or repairing an abnormality upon interaction with it.
