Instrument for therapeutically cytotoxically ablating parathyroidal tissue within a parathyroid gland
An instrument for therapeutically cytotoxically ablating parathyroidal tissue is disclosed. A substance is capable of transforming the parathyroid gland from overproduction of parathyroid hormone when the substance's quantity exceeds a set amount, and is capable of transforming the parathyroid gland from overproduction only when activated by application of sufficient units of an electromagnetic energy having a frequency ranging from 400 THz to 30 PHz when the substance's quantity is below the set amount. A delivery device is operable to introduce the substance into the parathyroidal tissue and to quantitatively limit the quantity to below the set amount. An energy device is operable to apply units of the electromagnetic energy after the substance has been introduced. A sensor is operable to monitor the activation of the substance as the electromagnetic energy is applied. The energy device is further operable to modulate applying the electromagnetic energy when the substance has been activated.
Non-invasive energy upconversion methods and systems for in-situ photobiomodulation
Products, compositions, systems, and methods for modifying a target structure which mediates or is associated with a biological activity, including treatment of conditions, disorders, or diseases mediated by or associated with a target structure, such as a virus, cell, subcellular structure or extracellular structure. The methods may be performed in situ in a non-invasive manner by placing a nanoparticle having a metallic shell on at least a fraction of a surface in a vicinity of a target structure in a subject and applying an initiation energy to a subject thus producing an effect on or change to the target structure directly or via a modulation agent. The nanoparticle is configured, upon exposure to a first wavelength λ.sub.1, to generate a second wavelength λ.sub.2 of radiation having a higher energy than the first wavelength λ.sub.1. The methods may further be performed by application of an initiation energy to a subject in situ to activate a pharmaceutical agent directly or via an energy modulation agent, optionally in the presence of one or more plasmonics active agents, thus producing an effect on or change to the target structure. Kits containing products or compositions formulated or configured and systems for use in practicing these methods.

[Summary] [Problem] The therapy method and the therapy apparatus for difficult cancer such as ductal cancer and other diseases. [Solution to problem] The therapy and the apparatus to beat cancer and other diseases by injecting the material which is energy receptive from outside and emissive heat to cancer cells in the body of a patient, and giving energy from outside.
Compositions and methods of altering the electric impedance to an alternating electric field
Disclosed are methods of altering the electric impedance to an alternating electric field in a target site of a subject, comprising introducing a nanoparticle to a target site in the subject; and applying an alternating electric field to the target site of the subject, wherein the electric impedance in the target site of the subject to the alternating current is altered. Disclosed are methods for improving transport of a nanoparticle across a cell membrane of a cell, the method comprising applying an alternating electric field to the cell for a period of time, wherein application of the alternating electric field increases permeability of the cell membrane; and introducing the nanoparticle to the cell, wherein the increased permeability of the cell membrane enables the nanoparticle to cross the cell membrane. Disclosed are methods of imaging a cancer cell, the method comprising applying a first alternating electric field at a first frequency to the cancer cell for a first period of time, wherein application of the first alternating electric field at the first frequency to the cancer cell for the first period of time increases permeability of cell membranes of the cancer cell; introducing a nanoparticle to the cancer cell, wherein the increased permeability of the cell membranes enables the nanoparticle to cross the cancer cell membrane; and imaging the cancer cell.
