RETINAL PHOTOTHERAPY SYSTEM AND METHOD HAVING FIXED PARAMETERS
20210339039 · 2021-11-04 · ·

A retinal phototherapy or photostimulation system includes a laser console generating at least one treatment beam having parameters to photostimulate or treat, while not permanently damaging, a retinal target tissue. The parameters of the at least one treatment beam are fixed so as not to be alterable by a medical provider. A projector or camera projects the at least one treatment beam onto at least a portion of the retina, and a scanning mechanism controllably directs the at least one treatment beam to treatment areas of the retina.

TREATMENT APPARATUS
20210339033 · 2021-11-04 · ·

A treatment apparatus system includes a plurality of needles configured to provide radio frequency energy, a source of radio frequency energy for supplying radio frequency energy to the plurality of needles, and a driving unit configured to insert the plurality of needles to different dermal depths. A user interface is configured to allow a user to select a plurality of depths the needles are to be inserted and, at each depth, an energy level to be applied. A controller subsystem is responsive to a user selected plurality of depths and a user selected energy level at each depth and is configured to control the driving unit to insert the plurality of needles to the user selected plurality of depths and, at each depth, control the source of radio frequency energy to apply the user selected energy level. A computer safety routine is configured to limit a user selected energy level when a user selected depth is less than a predetermined minimum depth from the skin surface.

METHODS AND DEVICES TO TREAT NASAL AIRWAYS

Embodiments disclosed herein relate to internal combustion engines, combustion systems that include such internal combustion engines, and controls for controlling operation of the combustion engine. The internal combustion engine may include one or more mechanisms for injecting fuel, air, fuel-air mixture, or combinations thereof directly into one or more cylinders, and controls may operate or direct operation of such mechanisms.

Deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and operating method thereof

Disclosed are a deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and an operation method thereof. The operating method may include generating a control signal to control patches attached to the skin of a user, dividing the control signal into a first signal and a second signal having a phase different from a phase of the first signal, transmitting the first signal and the second signal to patches attached to different positions, among the patches, and producing hyperthermia in a body of the user by radiating radio waves based on the first signal or the second signal received by each of the patches.

Method and apparatus for applying heat to living tissue

A method of applying heat to living tissue mainly uses a device for performing heat treatment on at least a portion of the living tissue in high-low-high temperature steps. In high temperature step, the temperature of the at least a portion of the living tissue is heated and kept between 39-46° C., and the heating period is no longer than 30 minutes. In low temperature step, the at least a portion of the living tissue is cooled, and the low temperature period should not be greater than a natural cooling time interval. In addition, the low temperature period must also be shorter than the heating period. Thus, the present invention allows the abnormal cells to be selectively restored or apoptotic without damaging the normal cells.

METHODS, DEVICES, AND SYSTEMS FOR NON-INVASIVE DELIVERY OF MICROWAVE THERAPY

Methods, apparatuses and systems are provided for non-invasive delivery of microwave therapy. Microwave energy may be applied to epidermal, dermal and subdermal tissue of a patient to achieve various therapeutic and/or aesthetic results. In one embodiment, the microwave energy is applied to a target tissue via an energy delivery applicator connected to an energy generator. The energy delivery applicator may comprise one or more antennas, including monopole, dipole, slot and/or waveguide antennas (among others) that are used to direct the microwave energy to the target tissue. The energy delivery applicator may also comprise a cooling element for avoiding thermal destruction to non-target tissue and/or a suction device to localize thermal treatment at specific portions of a skin fold.
