Visible and UV lighting system
A lighting system combines an arrangement of UV LEDs which face a light exit window and an arrangement of visible light LEDs which face a reflector arrangement. The reflection can be used to provide desired beam shaping or diffusion so that beam shaping components are not needed at the exit window. In this way, UV deterioration of beam shaping components is avoided.
PHOTO-TREATMENT DEVICE
A photo-treatment device includes a treatment region that has a front side at which source radiation is to be emitted and an opposite, back side. A plurality of light guides are located beside the treatment region. The light guides capture excess radiation peripheral to the treatment region and redirect the excess radiation toward the back side of the treatment region.
Skin tanning and phototherapy system and apparatus
A tanning or a phototherapy system including a light source including light emitting elements configured to emit ultraviolet (UV) light having different peak wavelengths, a controller configured to control luminous characteristics of the light source, and a sensor configured to sense at least one of the luminous characteristics of the light source and a user's skin condition, in which the luminous characteristics of the light source are controlled by the controller based on the user's skin condition sensed by the sensor, and controlling the luminous characteristics comprises increasing or decreasing luminous intensity of one or more of the light emitting elements.
Winter tanning tent
The winter tanning tent is a structure that comprises a shell, a frame, and a floor panel. The frame is a structure upon which the shell is mounted such that a protected interior space is created. The shell is substantially formed from a transparent material such that sunlight will pass through the shell into the interior space formed by the shell thereby heating the interior space. The frame is mounted on a floor panel such that a person standing within the interior space is protected from the supporting surface upon which the winter tanning tent is placed. The floor panel comprises a plate like structure that is placed on the supporting surface. The purpose of the winter tanning tent is to create a space warmed by solar energy that can be used for sunbathing purposes on uncomfortably cool days.
PHOTO-TREATMENT DEVICE
A photo-treatment device includes a non-opaque treatment substrate and a radiation-collector beside the substrate. The substrate is sized for a person at which radiation is to be emitted from above the substrate. The substrate has a front surface for receiving the person thereon and a back surface. The radiation-collector captures excess radiation peripheral to the substrate and redirects the excess radiation to the back surface of the substrate.
Contour tanning mask
A mask for facial contouring that includes: a main portion, where the main portion is adapted to cover a portion of a user's face leaving exposure of a user's outer jaw bone; eye covers, where the eye covers cover the user's eyes; a lip cover, where the lip cover covers the user's lips; temple covers extending from the main portion covering each temple area of the user's face; slit openings along a nose section of the mask; openings at a forehead portion of the mask; and an ear loop on each side of the mask for attaching the mask to the user's face. Each side of the mask may include curved exposure of the user's outer jaw bone and preferably the mask includes a soft material on an interior of the mask.
VISIBLE AND UV LIGHTING SYSTEM

UV radiation device
The invention relates to an UV radiation device, comprising an LED comprising a nitridic material which is arranged to emit first UV radiation in a wavelength range of 200 nm-300 nm and a luminescent material doped with at least one of the following activators selected out of the group Eu.sup.2+, Ce.sup.3+, Pr.sup.3+, Nd.sup.3+, Gd.sup.3+, Tm.sup.3+, Sb.sup.3+, Tl.sup.+, Pb.sup.2+ and Bi.sup.3+, wherein the luminescent material is configured to convert at least a part of the primary UV radiation into secondary UV radiation, the primary UV radiation and the secondary UV radiation having a different spectral distribution.
RADIATION SOURCE AND SKIN IRRADIATION DEVICE
A radiation source for a skin irradiation device for tanning skin, designed to emit UV light at a spectral irradiance E.sub.(), the spectral irradiance E.sub.() being chosen such that the ratio of the NMSC-effective, biological irradiance E.sub.NMSC to the erythema-effective, biological irradiance E.sub.er is 0.9 or less.
Device for body relaxation and renewal
A device for the body relaxation and renewal is described. It includes a perpendicular housing, which is a body with two side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall. The walls include vents situated in a lower and an upper part of said walls. A light panel is located inside at least one of said walls with alternately mounted fluorescent lamps and halogen lights. The fluorescent lamps are mounted in three rows of three pieces, in a vertical plane, one above another. The halogen lamps are set in slots mounted to vertical brackets and placed symmetrically in two vertical rows in three sections of two pieces.
