BIT SELECTION FOR MULTI-SLOT UPLINK SHARED CHANNEL TRANSMISSION
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of one or more sets of time domain resources for a multi-slot transmission occasion that spans multiple slots. The UE may select, for one or more codeblocks of a communication on the multi-slot transmission occasion, non-contiguous coded bits of a plurality of coded bits on a per slot basis for each of the multiple slots. The UE may interleave, for each of the multiple slots, the non-contiguous coded bits to form one or more interleaved encoded bit sequences of the one or more codeblocks. The UE may transmit the communication including the one or more interleaved encoded bit sequences. Numerous other aspects are described.
Polar coded HARQ-IR scheme
A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for transmitting coded messages to a receiving device including constructing a data vector including a plurality of data bits, transforming the data vector into a u-domain vector, applying a mask to the u-domain vector, encoding the masked u-domain vector with polar encoding to generate a transmission vector, and transmitting, to the receiving device, the transmission vector.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RATE MATCHING VIA A HETEROGENEOUS KERNEL WHEN USING GENERAL POLAR CODES
Systems and methods are disclosed for performing rate matching when using general polar codes. In one embodiment, a method of generating a codeword includes receiving bits at a polar encoder and encoding the bits using polar encoder kernels. The polar encoder kernels include a first kernel and a second kernel. The first kernel receives a set of input q-ary symbols and modifies the set of input q-ary symbols according to a first kernel generator matrix to produce a set of output q-ary symbols. The second kernel receives a set of input l-ary symbols, where l does not equal q, and modifies the set of input l-ary symbols according to a second kernel generator matrix to produce a set of output l-ary symbols. For example, the first kernel may be a binary kernel and the second kernel may be a Reed-Solomon (RS) based kernel.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PIECE-WISE RATE MATCHING WHEN USING POLAR CODES
Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to performing rate matching when using polar codes. In one embodiment, a plurality of bits are received at a polar encoder. A value is obtained that corresponds to at least one of: a coding rate to be used to transmit the plurality of bits, and a number of coded bits to be used to transmit the plurality of bits. It is determined which range of values the value falls within, and an information sequence is obtained that corresponds to the range the value falls within. The plurality of bits are mapped to a subset of positions of an input vector according to the information sequence. The remaining positions of the input vector are set as frozen values that are known by a decoder. The input vector is then encoded in the polar encoder to generate a codeword.
POLAR CODE ENCODING METHOD AND ENCODING APPARATUS
The present invention discloses a polar code encoding method and encoding apparatus. The method includes: mapping M reserved bits of a broadcast signaling respectively to M low-reliability information bits in K information bits of a polar code, and mapping remaining bits of the broadcast signaling to remaining information bits of the K information bits, to obtain bits after mapping, where M<K, and both M and K are positive integers; and performing polar code encoding on the bits after mapping, to obtain coded bits after encoding. Embodiments of the present invention can improve broadcast signaling transmission reliability.
System and method for signaling control information in a mobile communication network
A method of operating a wireless communication terminal includes receiving one or more downlink control messages that each contain scheduling information scheduling the wireless terminal to receive a downlink transmission on either a primary carrier or a secondary carrier. The method also includes determining, for each of the downlink control messages, whether that message includes scheduling information for the primary carrier or for a secondary carrier. Additionally, the method includes selecting a format for an uplink control message based on whether any of the downlink control messages includes scheduling information for a secondary carrier, generating an uplink control message based on the selected format, and transmitting the uplink control message to the base station.
POLAR CODING METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE
Embodiments of this application disclose a polar coding method, apparatus, and device, so as to reduce storage overheads of a system. A sequence for polar coding is obtained based on a length M of a target polar code, wherein the sequence comprises L sequence numbers, ordering of the L sequence numbers in the sequence is the same as ordering of the L sequence numbers in a maximum mother code sequence, wherein the maximum mother code sequence is obtained by sorting N sequence numbers of N polarized channels in ascending order or descending order of reliability metrics, wherein L and N are integer power of 2, M is smaller than or equal to L, L is smaller than or equal to N.
Data encoding method and device, storage medium, and processor
Provided are a data encoding method and device, a storage medium, and a processor. The method includes: obtaining data to be sent; performing quasi-cyclic low-density parity check (LDPC) encoding on the data to be sent to obtain an LDPC codeword sequence, and interleaving the LDPC codeword sequence to obtain an interleaved LDPC codeword sequence; performing cyclic bit selection on the interleaved LDPC codeword sequence from a starting position to obtain a rate-matched codeword sequence, where the starting position is determined according to a predetermined parameter; and sending the rate-matched codeword sequence. The solution above resolves the problem in the related art of unstable transmission after performing quasi-cyclic LDPC encoding on data to be transmitted, and achieves stable transmission after the quasi-cyclic LDPC encoding.
Rate matching performing method for LDPC code and communication device therefor
A method by which a terminal performs rate matching for a low density parity check (LDPC) code can comprise the steps of: determining any one transport block size (TBS) among a plurality of TBSs set for rate matching in the terminal; and performing rate matching for the LDPC code on the basis of the selected TBS. The UE is capable of communicating with at least one of another UE, a UE related to an autonomous driving vehicle, a base station or a network.
