METHOD TO MITIGATE UNDESIRED OSCILLATOR FREQUENCY MODULATION EFFECTS IN-SIDE A SYNTHESIZER DUE TO INTERFERENCE SIGNALS AND SYNTHESIZER CIRCUIT
A synthesizer circuit to generate a local oscillator carrier signal for a baseband signal includes a controlled oscillator comprising a phase lock loop and an oscillator configured to generate an oscillating signal. A pulling compensation circuit is configured to generate a correction signal for a present output of the phase locked loop using information on an error of the oscillating signal, information on a present sample of a baseband signal and a preceding correction signal for a preceding output of the phase locked loop.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL
According to one embodiment, a wireless communication device includes a transmitter configured to transmit a first field containing information to identify a plurality of wireless communication terminals, and configured to multiplex and transmit a plurality of second fields in each of which a first frame containing an address of any of the wireless communication terminals is set; and a controller configured to determine, for the first frames, values pertaining to lengths of durations to suppress access to a wireless medium to the wireless communication terminal having an address different from the address contained in each of the first frames. The transmitter is configured to set the values in the first frames, the second fields, or the first field. The controller is configured to determine the values so that the durations have an end at an identical time.
MULTI-MIXER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING INTERFERENCE WITHIN MULTI-MIXER SYSTEM
A multi-mixer system includes an amplifier module and a plurality of channels. The amplifier module is arranged for receiving signals from an antenna or antenna arrays to generate a plurality of radio frequency (RF) input signals. The plurality of channels are coupled to the amplifier module, wherein the plurality of channels receive the RF input signals, respectively, and each of the channels includes a mixer for mixing one of the RF input signals with a local oscillating signal to generate a mixed signal. In addition, at least one of the channels includes an interference reduction circuit positioned between the amplifier module and the mixer.
Noise minimization to communicate with a beacon
A method for detecting a beacon signal using an above-ground tracker. The tracker comprises an antenna assembly comprising a plurality of antennas. Each antenna is oriented in a different direction. During operation, if the beacon signal is interrupted due to a local noise source, transmission of the beacon signal is stopped. The tracker then detects radiation from the local noise source and the processor determines a direction from which peak ambient noise arrives at the tracker. The beacon signal is then resumed. A processor included in the tracker excludes any signals generated by the antenna assembly that are representative of radiation that arrived at the tracker from the same direction the peak ambient noise arrived at the tracker. The tracker then detects the beacon signal using the non-excluded signals.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COUPLING AN ANTENNA TO A DEVICE
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, by a feed point of a dielectric antenna, electromagnetic waves from a dielectric core coupled to the feed point without an electrical return path, where at least a portion of the dielectric antenna comprises a conductive surface, directing, by the feed point, the electromagnetic waves to a proximal portion of the dielectric antenna, and radiating, via an aperture of the dielectric antenna, a wireless signal responsive to the electromagnetic waves being received at the aperture. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Wireless amplifier circuitry for carrier aggregation
An electronic device may include wireless circuitry with a baseband processor, a transceiver circuit, a front-end module, and an antenna. The front-end module may include amplifier circuitry such as a low noise amplifier for amplifying received radio-frequency signals. The low noise amplifier is operable in a non-carrier-aggregation (NCA) mode and a carrier aggregation (CA) mode. The low noise amplifier may include a first input stage, a second input stage, a complementary degeneration transformer, and an input impedance compensation circuit. During the NCA mode, the first input stage is turned on while the second input stage is turned off, the degeneration transformer is controlled to provide maximum inductance, and the compensation circuit is turned on to provide input matching. During the CA mode, the first and second input stages are turned on, the degeneration transformer is adjusted to provide less inductance, and the compensation circuit is turned off.
