The method also includes identifying a location of an object relative to the electronic device within a first time duration based on the radar signals, the first time duration including a previous time until a current time. The method further includes determining a radio frequency (RF) exposure measurement associated with the object based on the location of the object over the first time duration. Additionally, the method includes determining a power density budget over a second time duration based on a comparison of the RF exposure measurement to an RF exposure threshold, the second time duration including the current time until a future time. The method also includes modifying the wireless communication operations for the second time duration based on the power density budget.

The first connection member may be connected to a ground of the printed circuit board through a first capacitor and may be disposed closer to the cut-off portion than the second connection member connected to the ground of the printed circuit board through a second capacitor. Other embodiments are also possible.

The user interaction causes the state change in a sensor device associated with the shelf, and responsive to the state change transmitting a message related to the state change over a network to an end node. The end node is configured to receive the message causing processing of an action based on the message. The one or more physical items are offered for sale in the store and data regarding the user interaction of the physical item is associated to a user account of the user. The user interaction is one of the physical item being touched, being lifted from the shelf, being moved from the shelf, or being released from the shelf of the retail store.

The notification module is configured to effect a selectable setting of a rate of communication between the mobile device and the wearable device based on at least part of a predetermined pattern of a fall discriminator within the activity log, where the selectable setting defines a predetermined period of communication between the mobile device and the wearable device. The fall discriminator is configured to determine when the activity log includes a notable fall event based on the predetermined pattern.
