COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION SIGNAL GENERATION METHOD
A communication device and a communication signal generation method are provided that perform receiving input data; and processing the input data according to a determined channel to generate a communication frame. The determined channel corresponds to one of a plurality of channels including at least one first channel defined by a first mode and at least one second channel defined by a second mode. A frequency band of the first channel including subcarriers is different from a frequency band of the second channel including subcarriers. A frequency interval of the subcarriers in the first channel is different from a frequency interval of the subcarriers in the second channel. A number of the first channel(s) in the first mode is different from a number of the second channel(s) in the second mode.
Method and apparatus to enable communication and control in a power system
A network unit may be operatively attached to power lines of an interconnected power system and/or a device such as a power module that may further include a communication interface. The network unit may be operable to superimpose a first signal representative of a sensed parameter of the power system onto the power lines, thereby to transmit the first signal to other power modules in the interconnected power system or to a power device in interconnected power system. The network unit may receive a second signal of the parameter superimposed onto the power lines from another network unit.
Induction heating extension cables including control conductors
Induction heating extension cables including control conductors are disclosed. An example cable assembly includes: a first plurality of conductors in a Litz cable arrangement; an outer protective layer configured to protect the plurality of conductors from physical damage; and a second plurality of conductors that are electrically isolated from the first plurality of conductors and are protected by the outer protective layer from physical damage.
DATA CENTER MANAGEMENT OVER A POWER PLANE
Data center management over a power plane, including: coupling, via a plurality of power planes, a management hub to one or more servers; and transferring, via the plurality of power planes, data between the management hub and the one or more servers.
Method and apparatus for surveying remote sites via guided wave communications
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a surveying system operable to receive a plurality of electromagnetic waves via a guided wave transceiver that include environmental data collected via a plurality of sensors at a plurality of remote sites. Weather pattern data is generated based on the environmental data. Other embodiments are disclosed.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING DUAL-MODE COMMUNICATION, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are method, apparatus and device for controlling dual-mode communication, and computer readable storage medium. The method applied to a first communication node includes: establishing a communication connection with at least one target communication node in a target communication network through a wired communication protocol, to obtain a wired communication data packet; extracting wireless communication configuration information pre-stored in the wired communication data packet; and configuring a wireless communication port based on the wireless communication configuration information. With the method, it is unnecessary for a wireless communication node to find out a channel for a central coordinator or a data concentrator transmitting a pilot beacon, wait for performing the handshake protocol with the central coordinator or the data concentrator, and determine the wireless channel for exchanging information, thereby accelerating the registration progress of the wireless communication node accessing the network and saving the registration time in a dual-mode communication network.
POLE TOP ADAPTER FOR WIRELESS ANTENNA
An antenna support connector for connecting an antenna assembly to a utility pole. The connector includes a plate having an upper surface and a lower surface where the lower surface is configured for engagement against an upper end surface of a pole. The plate includes a plurality of elongated apertures that extend through the plate between its upper and lower surfaces. Attachment element extends through each of the elongated apertures, which permit the attachment elements to be positioned against a sidewall (e.g., interior or exterior) of the pole. The attachment elements are adjustable to permit compressing the connector against the top surface of the pole.
DETECTION SYSTEM AND DETECTION METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a detection system including a control circuit, a power line network bridge circuit, a fixture device and a detection device. The control circuit is configured to generate a plurality of detection signals. The power line network bridge circuit receives detection signals through a power line. The fixture device is electrically connected to the power line through the power line network bridge, and is configured to receive the detection signals. The fixture device is configured to transmit the detection signals to a device under test, so that the device under test displays a plurality of media. The detection device is configured to capture the media and transmit the media to the control circuit. The control circuit is further configured to determine whether the media match with detection parameters.
DATA TRANSMISSION TIME OBTAINING METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of this application disclose a data transmission time obtaining method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: A first device sends a first packet to a second device, and obtains a first send timestamp of the first packet; the first device receives a second packet that is sent by the second device and that corresponds to the first packet, and obtains a first receive timestamp of the second packet; the first device calculates, based on timing frequency of the second device, a second receive timestamp at which the second device receives the first packet and a second send timestamp at which the second device sends the second packet; and the first device calculates a data transmission time between the first device and the second device based on the first send timestamp, the first receive timestamp, the second send timestamp, and the second receive timestamp.
SURFACE WAVE TRANSMISSION DEVICE WITH RF HOUSING AND METHODS FOR USE THEREWITH
A transmission device includes a coupler configured to convert a transmit signal to transmitted guided electromagnetic waves that propagate along a surface of a transmission medium without requiring an electrical return path, the coupler further configured to convert to a receive signal, received guided electromagnetic waves that propagate along the surface of the transmission medium without requiring an electrical return path. A housing is configured to provide environmental protection to the coupler. The housing includes an aperture section configured to pass the transmitted guided electromagnetic waves from the coupler through an aperture side of the housing, the aperture section further configured to pass the received guided electromagnetic waves to the coupler through the aperture side of the housing. The housing also includes a non-aperture section configured to absorb radio frequency (RF) signals in a frequency range of the transmit signal and a frequency range the receive signal.
