Enhanced peer-to-peer networking exchange
Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for improving ease in transmitting information between peer devices. Communications devices establish a peer group. Each communications device in the group assigns different sections of its touchscreen to the other devices in the group. To transfer information to another device in the group, the user swipes on the touchscreen towards the assigned section for the target communications device. Upon detecting the swipe, and determining that the swipe was towards the assigned section, the communications device initiates a transfer of the information to the target communications device. This may involve confirmation at the device or a paired device before transfer, or no confirmation. Receipt of the information at the target communications device may trigger notifications to be displayed. It may also trigger a request for acceptance of the transfer at the target communications device after which receipt is confirmed.
Communication handling
A system and method for processing instructions sent wirelessly between a control master unit and a slave device comprising a slave device memory is disclosed. The control master unit transmits an instruction to the slave device. The slave device writes the received instruction to the slave device memory; reads a stored instruction, corresponding to the instruction written to the memory, from the memory; and transmits the stored instruction to the control master unit. The control master unit compares the stored instruction to the instruction and, if the stored instruction is the same as the instruction, enables a process instruction to be sent to the slave device. In response to receiving the process instruction, the slave device processes the stored instruction.
Writing data to printed matter with embedded wireless devices
A method of calibrating a digital data writing system (20), the digital data writing system comprising a plurality of wireless communication devices (30) configured to write digital data to a first plurality of wireless communication chips (7) provided in a printed sheet (10), the method comprising: providing, to the digital data writing system (20), configuration data relating to the locations of each of the first plurality of wireless communications chips (7); selecting each wireless communication device (30) in turn and identifying, for the selected wireless communication device (30), a corresponding one of the first plurality of wireless communication chips (7) that is located in closest proximity to the location of the wireless communication device (30) within the digital data writing apparatus (20); and determining, for the selected wireless communication device (30), the relative location of the device within the digital data writing system (20).
THERAPEUTIC PRODUCT DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PAIRING
A method of pairing a therapeutic product delivery device to a handset is described. The handset is restricted to controlling only delivery devices which it is paired with. The method comprises the steps of: at the delivery device, setting, in response to the delivery device being connected to a charging device, a pairing indicator indicating that the delivery device is available for pairing, and broadcasting the pairing indicator using a radio transceiver; at the handset, discovering the delivery device based on the broadcast pairing indicator; and pairing the discovered delivery device and the handset together. By limiting the handset to pairing with devices which are broadcasting a pairing indicator, and by limiting the setting and/or broadcast of the pairing indicator to when the delivery device is connected to a charging device, the risk of accidentally pairing the wrong delivery device (for example someone else's) to the handset is greatly reduced.
COMMUNICATION SET-UP FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SUCH A COMMUNICATION SET-UP
A communication set-up having an electronic circuit; the circuit including at least one communication unit for wireless communication. The communication unit includes an antenna network connected to an antenna; and also includes an actuating unit. The circuit of the communication set-up further includes a signal processing unit, and in response to operation of the actuating unit, the actuating unit is configured to release a signal to the signal processing unit, which, on the basis of this, converts the communication set-up from a blocked state to an enabled state, or vice versa. In addition, a method for controlling such a communication set-up is described.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A wireless communication system includes a first coupler having a first pair of electrodes and second coupler having a second pair of electrodes that at least partially oppose the first pair of electrodes. A transmission circuit applies a differential signal to the first coupler. A reception circuit receives a differential signal output from the second coupler based on electromagnetic coupling between the first coupler and the second coupler. A distance between centroids of the first pair of electrodes differs from a distance between centroids of the second pair of electrodes.
CONTAINER ARRANGEMENT INCLUDING A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A container arrangement (100) is disclosed, which is preferably destined for pharmaceutical products. The container arrangement includes a container body (110) and a first wireless communication systems (210) composed of a NFC system (210) including an NFC antenna (141). The container arrangement further includes a first and/or a second sensing-switching arrangement (143; 280) configured to include a preset status inhibiting a standardized operability of the first wireless communication system (210). The first sensing-switching arrangement (143) is configured to deregulate its preset status upon an initial opening event and the second sensing-switching arrangement (280) is configured to deregulate its preset status upon an unloading event.
CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO INTELLIGENT PIECES OF CLOTHING
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to establishing a simple and secure connection between two intelligent pieces of clothing. A first connecting part is provided on a first intelligent piece of clothing and a second connecting part is provided on a second intelligent piece of clothing. The first connecting part and the second connecting part are magnetically connected in order to align and interconnect a first signal connecting part in the first connecting part with a second signal connecting part in the second connecting part for establishing a signal connection between first electronics of the first intelligent piece of clothing and second electronics of the second intelligent piece of clothing.
Pairing Method, Unpairing Method, Terminal Device, and Externally-Connected Device
A terminal device includes or connects to an external Hall device. The terminal device enters a to-be-connected state based on a Hall event generated by the Hall device, where terminal device is configured for connection to an externally device using a wireless communication protocol. The terminal device sends a trigger signal to enable the externally device to enter the to-be-connected state based on the trigger signal, and establishes the connection to the externally device using the wireless communication protocol.
Active receiver for connected RFID tags
A RFID tag (1) for communicating with an external reader comprises: two antenna connections (LA, LB) for connecting the RFID tag (1) to an antenna (10), an active receiver switch circuit (5) for receiving two input sinusoidal signals from the two antenna connections (LA, LB) and generating a rectified waveform signal (8), a modulation detection circuit (12) for receiving two input sinusoidal signals from the two antenna connections (LA, LB) and generating a first demodulation signal (13) related to a 10% amplitude modulation of a RF field for communication between the reader and the RFID tag (1) and a second demodulation signal (14) related to a 100% amplitude modulation of a RF field for communication between the reader and the RFID tag (1).
