TECHNIQUES FOR DYNAMIC TIME DUPLEX DIVISION WITH RESERVATION SIGNAL AND CONTENTION
20230124134 · 2023-04-20 ·

Techniques for dynamic time duplex division (TDD) with reservation signal and contention may include a first network node configured to select a first resource to reserve for use of a downlink (DL) transmission or an uplink (UL) transmission. The first network node may also be configured to transmit, to a second network node, a reservation signal on a reservation signal resource to announce that the first resource is reserved for use of the DL transmission or the UL transmission by the first network node. The reservation signal resource may be associated with the first resource.

Method for synchronizing a magnetic locating system

The method relates to a synchronization of a magnetic locating system including a first device and a second device each including an oscillator, a time counter clocked by the oscillator, and a radiocommunication module. The locating system also includes a device for emitting and receiving alternating magnetic fields, the device being configured to allow a propagation of alternating magnetic fields between the first and second devices, the device for emitting and receiving alternating magnetic fields being connected to the oscillators of the first and second devices. The synchronizing method includes a synchronizing step that is configured to synchronize the oscillators of the first and second devices by adjusting, by servo-controlling the oscillator of the second device, the operation of the time counter of the second device to the operation of the time counter of the first device.

Dynamic frozen bits and error detection for polar codes

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for dynamic frozen bits of polar codes for early termination and performance improvement. A wireless device may receive a signal comprising a codeword encoded using a polar code. The wireless device may perform decoding of the codeword including at least: parity check of a first subset of decoding paths for making a decision on early termination of decoding of the codeword based on dynamic frozen bits, and generating path metrics for a second subset of the decoding paths that each pass the parity check based on the dynamic frozen bits, and performing error detection on a bit sequence corresponding to one of the second subset of the decoding paths based at part on error detection bits and the generated path metrics. The wireless device may process the information bits based on a result of the decoding.

FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS OPTICAL SUBCARRIERS

A network or system in which a hub or primary node may communicate with a plurality of leaf or secondary nodes. The hub node may operate or have a capacity greater than that of the leaf nodes. Accordingly, relatively inexpensive leaf nodes may be deployed to receive data carrying optical signals from, and supply data carrying optical signals to, the hub node. One or more connections may couple each leaf node to the hub node, whereby each connection may include one or more spans or segments of optical fibers, optical amplifiers, optical splitters/combiners, and optical add/drop multiplexer, for example. Optical subcarriers may be transmitted over such connections, each carrying a data stream. The subcarriers may be generated by a combination of a laser and a modulator, such that multiple lasers and modulators are not required, and costs may be reduced. As the bandwidth or capacity requirements of the leaf nodes change, the number of subcarriers, and thus the amount of data provided to each node, may be changed accordingly. Each subcarrier within a dedicated group of subcarriers may carry OAM or control channel information to a corresponding leaf node, and such information may be used by the leaf node to configure the leaf node to have a desired bandwidth or capacity.

A user equipment (UE) is configured to receive a control message over a physical control channel in a first time slot, wherein the control message has power control bits for a plurality of UEs, wherein the plurality of UEs include the first UE. The UE is further configured to extract power control information for the first UE from the control message, and to transmit a signal over a physical control channel to a base station in a second time slot at a transmission power level based on the extracted power control information.

TDMA TRANSMISSION IN MULTI-AP ENVIRONMENT

In a wireless local area network (wireless LAN) system, a sharing AP may allocate a time interval in which each AP performs transmission/reception. STAs belonging to a BSS of each AP may operate in a power saving mode in time intervals not allocated to the BSS of the STAs.

Dynamic Multipath Searcher Revisit Rate for a WCDMA Receiver
