ADJUSTABLE ILLUMINATORS AND METHODS FOR PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY AND DIAGNOSIS

An illuminator for photodynamically diagnosing or treating a surface includes a plurality of panels. The illuminator further includes a plurality of light sources, each mounted to one of the plurality of panels. The plurality of light sources are configured to irradiate the surface with substantially uniform intensity visible light. The illuminator also includes a heat source configured to emit heat to a patient. The heat increases the generation of a photoactivatable agent and thus shortens the time needed to complete photodynamic therapy

Phototherapeutic apparatus

A phototherapy device including: an irradiation probe for radiating irradiation light toward a living body; a probe fixing unit into which the irradiation probe is inserted and at the same time fixed on a living body; an observation module placed on the probe fixing unit and provided with an observation means for observing an irradiation site irradiated with irradiation light which is radiated to the living body; and a moving means capable of moving the observation module to a space where the irradiation probe is to be placed in the probe fixing unit during observation of the irradiation site.

PORTABLE WHOLE-BODY PHOTON THERAPY DEVICE
20210393973 · 2021-12-23 · ·

A portable photon therapy system is disclosed herein comprising a chassis, legs, headrest and footrest. When not in use, the legs can be folded, and the headrest and footrest detached and stored inside the chassis, which can be contained within a travel case. The device with case will comply with airline checked baggage requirements for size and weight. The chassis houses arrays of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on printed circuit boards (PCBs) beneath an acrylic surface (device bed), which emit a plurality of light wavelengths at therapeutic irradiance levels. After device setup and upon selection of the desired light wavelengths (e.g. red or infrared or both) and mode (pulsed or continuous wave) via the control panel, one lays down on the device bed to undergo photon therapy. The present invention comprises a foldable 2-piece chassis for consumer photon therapy, and a single-piece chassis for patient photon therapy by medical professionals.

PHOTOTHERAPY DEVICE

A phototherapy device includes at least one flexible sheet that has first and second electrical conduction layers, an electrical insulation layer between the first and second electrical conduction layers, and light emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed along the electrical insulation layer between the first and second electrical conduction layers. The first electrical conduction layer includes a conductive polymer. The electrical conduction layers and the LEDs are part of an electrical circuit in which the LEDs illuminate responsive to an electrical input. There is at least one meter to measure an electrical property of the electrical circuit. A control module is in communication with the meter and configured to adjust the electrical input responsive to the electrical property of the electrical circuit.

FOLDING SAUNA ENCLOSURE

A portable, personal therapy chamber for provision of radiation therapy. The therapy chamber includes a pair of telescopically positionable units that are lightweight and easily portable by a single user. The therapy chamber is configured for use by a single person lying generally prone on a surface. The units are formed from a plurality of pivotably coupled panels that are foldable in a first direction to a rolled up, tube-like storage configuration and unfoldable in a second direction to an arched formation or use configuration. The units, in the use configuration, are disposed to overlie the user and include a plurality of emitters that direct infrared energy toward the user's body.

Method and apparatus for non-thermal nail, foot, and hand fungus treatment

A method and device for treating an infection of the nail or nail bed and adjacent tissues through non-thermal means is described. The device illuminates an area with light in the near-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Preferably, light having wavelengths of from about 870 nm to about 930 nm will be used. Further, the device includes light emitting diodes that are capable of emitting ultraviolet light. These lights are intended to provide a sterile environment for a user using the device.

DEVICE FOR ACTING ON AT LEAST PARTS OF A BODY
