Compact Portable Body Tanning and Light Therapy Apparatus
The present invention provides an apparatus and method for self-tanning or light therapy treatment at home using a device capable of emitting ultraviolet radiation to achieve a tan on the user's body. The invention can also be configured for use in light therapy applications. A complete tan is achieved by lying on a flat surface underneath the apparatus emitting ultraviolet radiation and controlling forward and backward movement of the apparatus along a flat surface by either manually sliding the apparatus along the body or by means of a motorized drive system to focus the ultraviolet radiation on different parts of the body.
Lamp with Stand
A lamp having a light source for emitting light, a stand having a plate and a first connector, the lamp having a protrusion and a second connector, the stand being connectable to the lamp in a standing position and in a stowing position, wherein in the standing position, the first connector is connected to the second connector, and wherein in the stowing position, the plate is connected to the protrusion.
PERSONAL PORTABLE THERAPY CHAMBER
A portable, personal therapy chamber for provision of infrared radiation therapy. The therapy chamber includes a pair of telescopically positionable cabins that are lightweight and easily portable by a single user. The therapy chamber is configured for use by a single person lying generally prone on a surface. The cabins are disposed to overlie the user and include a plurality of infrared radiation elements that direct infrared energy toward the user's body. When using the therapy chamber, the user's head extends from an open end of the cabin. A facial treatment fixture is integrated with the cabin to be extendable longitudinally from a terminal end thereof and to overlie the user's face/head. The therapy chamber can be configured to provide mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy in addition to infrared therapy.
Integrated photobiomodulation device
Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter may provide a display device or display surface including at least one emissive layer and a near-infrared (NIR) emissive layer disposed in a stack arrangement between a first electrode and a second electrode, where NIR light is emitted from the NIR emissive layer through the at least one emissive layer, or visible light is emitted from the at least one emissive layer through the NIR emissive layer, and where the NIR light output by the NIR emissive layer has a peak wavelength of 740 nm-1000 nm. Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter may provide a near infrared (NIR) light source disposed behind or in front of an active-matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED), where the NIR light source has an area greater than 25% of an active area of the display device or display surface.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PHOTOTHERAPY OF TREATMENT SITES
The present technology relates to a configurable phototherapeutic device or system. The phototherapeutic device or system comprises a plurality of light emitting devices adaptably connected to one another or to a support structure. The plurality of light emitting devices is configured for providing concurrent phototherapy to a plurality of anatomical features of a subject. The configurable phototherapeutic device or system also comprises a central controller which is operatively connected to the light emitting devices and each one of the light emitting devices being communicatively connected to the central controller. The central controller is configured for selectively causing at least one of the light emitting devices to emit light for phototherapy of at least one anatomical feature of the subject.
FOLDING SAUNA ENCLOSURE
A portable, personal therapy chamber for provision of radiation therapy. The therapy chamber includes a pair of telescopically positionable units that are lightweight and easily portable by a single user. The therapy chamber is configured for use by a single person lying generally prone on a surface. The units are formed from a plurality of pivotably coupled panels that are foldable in a first direction to a rolled up, tube-like storage configuration and unfoldable in a second direction to an arched formation or use configuration. The units, in the use configuration, are disposed to overlie the user and include a plurality of emitters that direct infrared energy toward the user's body.
COMPOSITE INTELLIGENT BIOLOGICAL PHOTOTHERAPY DEVICE
The present invention provides a composite intelligent biological phototherapy device including a base structure, a plurality of white light fluorescent tubes arranged side by side on the base structure, a plurality of LEDs disposed between the white light fluorescent tubes, a housing having an opening and configured to accommodate the base structure and the white light fluorescent tubes and the LEDs thereon, a light-transmittable plate disposed on the housing corresponding to the opening, and an control module configured to respectively control the white light fluorescent tubes and the LEDs. The base structure includes a plurality of sections, and each of the sections has a first surface facing the light-transmittable plate. The white light fluorescent tubes and the LEDs are provided on the first surfaces, and the sections are bent relative to each other so an angle between the first surfaces of adjacent sections is less than 180 degrees.
OPHTHALMIC DEVICES FOR LIGHT THERAPY
Methods, systems, and devices related to light therapy using ophthalmic lenses are disclosed. In one example aspect, an optical device includes an ophthalmic lens and a frame comprising a frame front configured to support the ophthalmic lens. The frame includes two temples configured to allow a user to wear the optical device. The optical device includes a coating that is deposited in multiple sub-regions of the ophthalmic lens. The optical device includes a light source coupled to each of the two temples of the frame. The light source is controllable to emit light directed at the coating of the ophthalmic lens such that a portion of the light reflected by the multiple sub-regions of the ophthalmic lens forms a spectrum of light that has different wavelength bands corresponding to different therapeutical effects on the user.
