The driver circuit is adapted to generate multiple pulses of the first pulsed current during a first period and no pulses of current during a second period, the first period and the second period alternating with each other, and the first pulsed current has a first pulse frequency and a first duty cycle during the first period, the first pulse frequency being 100 Hz or higher, and the first duty cycle being 0.5 percent or above.
CATHETER ASSEMBLY AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
According to an exemplary embodiment, a catheter assembly may be provided. The catheter assembly may include: an elongated, tubular catheter body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a centrally-disposed lumen extending therebetween; a covering attached to the distal end of the catheter body, the covering defining a generally spherical shaped tip; at least one ancillary lumen disposed within the catheter body and extending between the proximal end and the distal end thereof; at least one light-emitting element configured to emit light of a predetermined wavelength through the ancillary lumen; and at least one light source that provides light of a predetermined wavelength to the at least one light-emitting element. The catheter assembly may emit certain wavelengths of light that, when combined with a target therapeutic solution, initiates a synergistic reaction.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING FAT CELLS IN A HUMAN BODY
According to an exemplary embodiment, a method and system of non-surgical, non-invasive body contouring and weight reduction treatments may be shown and described. These treatments may provide tissue remodeling, such as skin tightening and skin contour smoothening, as well as provide other cosmetic applications. The method and system may include determining an area of tissue suitable for a noninvasive cosmetic treatment, targeting the area with radiant energy, providing cellulite cream to the targeted area, and massaging the area with a vibrational plate. The system and method may result in the reduction of undesired fat deposits and correction of other skin conditions, such as loose skin and cellulite. Furthermore, all aspects of the present method and system may be performed in a non-invasive manner.
