Systems and methods for communication link adaptation and communication networks involving ground-based user equipment and non-terrestrial stations. A communication is received indicating signal quality of a first signal transmitted during a first transmission period and a plurality of fading losses associated with the first signal are obtained. A first fading loss and a second fading loss associated with the first signal are estimated for a future time, the first fading loss based on application of a first filter, and the second fading loss based on differences determined between the first fading loss and the plurality of fading losses. A signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio is calculated and includes at least one of the first fading loss and the second fading loss. A non-terrestrial station transmits, for a second time period, a second signal having settings determined based on the signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio.

ADAPTIVE TRANSMISSION AND TRANSMISSION PATH SELECTION BASED ON PREDICTED CHANNEL STATE
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter node may predict a future state associated with a wireless channel at a future time instance using a machine learning model, wherein the future state is predicted based at least in part on one or more of weights associated with the machine learning model, a current state associated with the wireless channel, or one or more previous states associated with the wireless channel. The transmitter node may select one or more parameters for a transmission to occur at the future time instance based at least in part on the future state associated with the wireless channel. The transmitter node may perform the transmission using the one or more parameters. Numerous other aspects are described.

The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting and receiving channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system and a device supporting the same. Particularly, a method for reporting channel state information (CSI) performed by a user equipment (UE) supported by multiple base stations in a wireless communication system may include receiving CSI related configuration information for the multiple base stations; receiving a reference signal from the multiple base stations; generating CSI based on a CSI omission rule; and transmitting the CSI to at least one base station among the multiple base stations, wherein the CSI may include information for multiple channels configured, and wherein the CSI omission rule may be determined based on at least one of i) a type of the CSI, ii) a part of the CSI, iii) priority information among CSI parameters and/or iv) priority information among the multiple base stations.
